The Touch of an Angel (Hawks x Reader)

Chapter 1

Your white wings flapped effortlessly as you were doing your daily fly above the city waiting and looking to see if anyone needed any help. You scanned the streets, littered with people who were all trying to get to wherever they needed to go. You decided to head back down to the ground and just walk around for a little bit. As you softly landed, you then heard an alarm go off and turned towards the sound to see the bank at the end of the street was just broken into and there were some villains causing havoc with their quirks. You quickly headed over to the scene checking to see if anyone was hurt. As you reached the bank you saw that some of the workers were injured so you immediately went to their aid and as you did, a glimpse of crimson passed your eyes as it took down one of the bad guys. You turned your head to see crimson wings which could only belong to the one and only Hawks as he took down the other criminals effortlessly. You finished healing the workers who were hurt and checked to make sure everyone else was okay as they were cheering for the number 2 hero.  Once you knew that everyone was okay you went to the police and told them what you saw and they thanked you as they loaded up the criminals and drove away.

"Angel" you heard someone yell. You turned around to look and see who did, and you thought it was just someone in the crowd that maybe did recognize you but it was actually the crimson winged hero himself who was waving and walking over as the people continued to cheer and fawn over him, especially the teenage girls. You had met the hero a couple times before, both arriving to scenes with trouble. "Hello Hawks" you said with a soft smile as you straightened out your suit. "Thanks for helping the workers" he said, giving you the signature smile you had seen everywhere. "No problem, just doing my job" you said as he continued to smile at you. Once you got a good look at him you realized he had a cut above his left eyebrow that was still slightly bleeding. You walked towards him, catching him off guard as you lifted your hand to his forehead, activating your quirk and healing the cut almost instantly. "Oh forgot about that" Hawks said as he smiled at you again. "It's ok, happy to help though" you said as you then started walking away and waving, saying "Cya later Hawks", as you took off into the sky.

Hawks Pov-

I've encountered Angel a couple times before, and for some reason I was always happy when I got the chance to see her. As she waved goodbye and took off into the sky my eyes continued to follow her in awe. Her white wings always intrigued me as the color was so pure and from how they would glow a faint (f/c) as she used her quirk. I quickly came back to my senses, waving to the crowd as I also took off into the sky. 'Maybe I could send her a request to be a part of my agency' I thought as I flew through the window of my office.

Your Pov-

The day was finally over as you reached the door to your apartment. It was a good sized apartment, not small but wasn't massive like some of the other heroes. It had a guest bedroom,bathroom, master bedroom with another bathroom, decent sized kitchen, living room with big windows from the ceiling to the floor, and a little office/study area. You unlocked the door to be met with the sound of a soft meow as your gray tabby cat, Hiro came to meet you at the door. You knelt down giving him a little head scratch, then heading to your room to change out of your hero suit and shower. Once you finished you headed to the kitchen to get Hiro dinner and to also make yourself some food. As the food was cooking, you headed over to your office to check if you had any emails or bills to take care of. As you logged in you saw you had an email from a hero agency. You never really wanted to start your own agency and were never really given offers to join one. You clicked on the email to see it was from Hawk's agency. You read through the email as it explained how Hawks would like for you to join his agency and work alongside him. You stared at it in disbelief that you forgot about the food you were cooking. You quickly got your food, heading straight back to the computer to finish reading it. Once you did you immediately emailed back saying you agreed and also telling them your phone number. You then went to the living room to finish your food as you still couldn't believe the number two hero wanted you to work with him. Hiro came up onto the couch, nuzzling up against you for cuddles making you laugh a little bit, then petting him causing him to pur. After you did that you cleaned up dinner, and headed to your room to go to bed for the night.

Hawks Pov-

As I was about to finish up for the day and head home I saw I got an email. I opened it to see it was from the hero Angel accepting my offer. I smiled to myself, as I then sent the email to my secretary so she could start getting things ready for her. I finally then finished up, and headed home for the night.
