Chapter 18

"Where you think you are going sweetheart?"Mr.Verma's cold voice made my body shiver.I dared not to look back at him and decided to concentrate on the door.

Pranit's POV:
Nowadays I have became a different person.I am happy always because of none other than Sonakshi.I smile daily and always get weird looks from my employees because of my changed behavior.

Hah... Sonakshi... She is so cute and beautiful.Whenever she is near me I feel different emotions which I am experiencing for first time.Whenever I kiss her soft cheeks,I like the blush on her face.She turns into a red tomato.

I was crazily smiling while thinking about her when a voice brought me out of my la la land.

"Pranit bro.... Are you smiling?" I looked at the source and it is none other than Sid.

"What?no.... definitely not I am not smiling and why did you came in without knocking" I ask while changing the topic.

"Bro from last 5 minutes I am knocking the door but you are lost in your dreamland" He said while smiling sheepishly.

"O.. Ok,tell me why did you came here?"I asked him.

"Yeah about that tomorrow is Dad's birthday so I have arranged a party you and my lovely sister in law are invited"he said while smiling.

"Ofcourse we will surely come..... " I said with a nod.

We sat for a while and discussed about some business.He then decided to leave not before saying "Bro you look more handsome when you smile.... Say thanks to my Sister in law because of her only you are happy".I smiled at him and nodded my head.

Rest of the day I was quite busy with my work.Today I completed my work before the time because I decided to pick up Sonakshi from her work place.I left my office and went directly to parking lot.After settling in my car I made my way towards my destination.I parked my car at a distance from her bank as I wanted to give her surprise.Many of the employees started to leave... I think she will too come eventually.My phone dinged indicating about the message.I opened it and it was some of the important notifications send by my P.A.I leaned on my car and started scrolling my phone.As I was done,I kept my phone in my pocket and looked towards the bank.Why isn't she here?It's almost her time to leave the office.

I waited for her for few more minutes but still she didn't came.Then I saw her friend Meena coming out of the bank.I went near her.

"Hey... Meena hi! ,where is Sonakshi? " I asked her.

"Hello Jiju.... Sonakshi has already left,it has been around 10 minutes or so"she said while looking confused.

I immediately called her but she didn't picked her call.I tried more 2 to 3 times but no reply.

"Oh.... Ok,I thought she was still here" I told her.I think she didn't saw me here as I only come to drop her and not to pick her.

"It's quite late Meena,I will drop you at your place" I told her.She denied firstly but I insisted her so she agreed.After dropping her at her place I decided to go back at my apartment.I again called Sonakshi but still she didn't picked up.Is she ignoring me?

As soon as I reached the apartment, I went directly near sonakshi's room.I opened it and saw her sleeping on her bed.She was holding a cushion close to her making me jealous of that silly cushion.What's with me?

I went and sat beside her and kissed her forehead and decided to let her sleep.I would discuss as why is she ignoring my calls.

I freshen up and ate my dinner all alone and afterwards I slept.

I woke up early this morning as I need to leave the office earlier today because an important work.I was preparing breakfast for Sonakshi when I heard the sound of door opening.I think she is awake.

I went out of my kitchen and walked near her room.But I saw her near the front door trying to open it.She was ready to go to work but it was so early.She doesn't even wake up at this time surely she is ignoring me.She was struggling to open the door but I had locked it last night and it won't open without my fingerprints.I smiled looking at her struggle.

"Where you think you are going sweetheart?"I asked her in a cold voice.She forze but didn't looked back and again started the struggle with the door.

"It won't open,I have locked the door "I said while walking closer to her but she didn't turned around to look at me.

I went and back hugged her,she stiffened at my sudden action.I placed my chin near crook of her neck and her breathing became fast.

"Are you ignoring me?" I wispered in her ear.She was shivering at my sudden action.

"No.... no I am... not ignoring you... actually I have an important work to do.... so I need to go... Please open the door" She said while stuttering.

"Ok... I will open the door but first have your breakfast and then you can leave" I said to her while placing several kisses on her neck.She was shivering because of my touches.

She was hell adamant to even turn around and look at me.Damn stubborn.

"Mr.Verma... I am not... hungry... Please leave me I will get late" she stuttered while talking and tried to push me but I hold her more tightly.

"You are going to have your breakfast and then leave" I ordered her and turned her around to face me.But she was looking everywhere around ignoring me.

I took hold of her wrist and made her sit on the chair of dinning table.I took the breakfast in a plate and made her eat it all.She quietly ate everything without showing any tantrum but she was avoiding my gaze.After she was done she stood up and started walking in the direction of front door.

"Sonakshi stop right there"I demanded.She was making me irritated by ignoring me.She stopped right on her track.

I went near her and turned her around.I hold her chin to let her met my gaze.

"You are ignoring me Sonakshi,tell me what happened?Yesterday I called you and you didn't picked my call too.... Tell me the reason" I asked her softly.

"Mr.Verma... I am really not ignoring you.I.. I was hell tired yesterday so I came back and slept" she said while looking down.I know she is lieing but I decided to ignore that.I will talk to her later.

I kissed her forehead and she relaxed.

"Ok, Fine.... Today is Tushar Uncle's birthday,so Sid has arranged a party.We are invited,so be ready by 7.00 pm" I told her and she nodded her head in approval.

I opened the lock of the door for her.I insisted her that I will drop her but she declined by giving some idiotic reason.I too didn't forced her as I will talk to her on this topic after today's party.

I sighed and picked up my car keys and went to my office.
