You and Kai had made your way over to his dark wood desk, you set your bag and things down and got all of your stuff out while Kai got out all of the things you need for the project, once he set all the things down you opened your computer and tried to find the assignment.

You could hear commotion going on downstairs and could hear little voices screaming and running around the house with toys, you smiled to yourself at the noises and let out a little laugh, "so, so you hangout with your little siblings ever?" You ask Kai while also focusing on the computer where your doing your work. You can tell Kai hesitates to answer you which you find a bit odd but soon enough he answers you.

"Um, y-yea a little," Kai answers your questions as he writes down on the paper that sits on the table in front of him.

You and Kai work on the project together for about another hour when something hits Kai's bedroom window repeatedly, you ignore it because you just assume it's just the cold wind hitting the windows with gravel. The noise continues and continues until something crashes through the window and lands on the floor, you and Kai shoot up out of your chairs and look at the window, "what the fuck was that!" You partially yelled and walked towards the window when Kai grabs your arm and pulls you into him, "stop, there's shards of glass everywhere!" Kai also yells and looks at the window, "god damn it!" Kai yells and pushes everything off of his desk. Pens, paper, and glass all fall on the ground immediately breaking at the force of Kai's harsh push, you flinch when he angrily sits in his chair and rubs his face.

Your about to walk over to Kai when you see a huge gray rock over by Kai's bed that crashed through his window, "oh my god," you whisper to yourself and make your way over to the rock. You slowly pick up the rock and throw it out of the window through the whole that the rock made.

You walk over to Kai and turn the wooden black chair around to face him, you slowly sit down and look at him, "a-are you okay?" You ask kai as you see a damp spot on Kai'a hoodie right where his eyes were facing, he had cried.

You cautiously and hesitantly being your hand up to Kai's head and put your hand on the gray hoodie to slowly slide it off of his head. Kai would've stopped you but he didn't have enough strength to pull your hand away from his hood.

You slowly pull it down to see his face, you gasped at how incredibly gorgeous he was. He had soft dark brown hair and gorgeous ocean blue eyes, perfect pink lips and a jawline that made you go completely crazy. But his looks isn't what you were focused on in that moment, you were focused on the big purple bruise right below his eye as if someone had punched him repeatedly, you look at him in shock and gesture for him to take off his hoodie. He sighs and removes his hoodie from his body and boy was he perfect, his nice toned body and his beautiful arm muscles. God he was absolutely perfect.

After falling out of your trance you saw bruises raking down his arms, you reach your arm out and run your hand down his arms, him flinching as you do so. "Kai," you whisper as a shiny tear drop falls down from his bright blue eyes, "w-who?" You asked referring to who does these harsh things to him. "Why should I tell you," Kai says turning around, your surprised by his actions and walk closer to him and out his hand on his shoulder, "because I care," you say as he looks at you and scoffs, "oh please, drop the act I know your just gonna go tell your bitch ass friends and start rumors," Kai says jerking away from you. Your shocked at what he said and you immediately feel horrible that he would feel that way about you, "no, no, no, Kai your looking at this all wrong," you say as you walk in front of him, "oh really?! How!" Kai snaps at you causing you to jump a bit in your place. "Listen, when I was in middle school I became friends with Sophia," Kai immediately scoffs at that as you continue on with your story, "and we were best friends, until we hit high school she decided to change, a lot. She started to get more and more popular and suck me in as well, she started spreading rumors about people, humiliating them. And I thought it was really fucked up, but I knew if I tried stopping her, or telling her to back off, she would just do that to me," you explained to Kai as he had a death stare look on his face, "so you just let everyone else get humiliated so you would have to be?!" Kai yells at you, "I didn't have a choice!" You snap back at him, "of course you did! You just didn't want to risk getting humiliated so you let everyone else get humiliated!" Kai says and walks in front of you looking down at you. "What was I supposed to do then!" "Deal with it, like everyone else!" Kai says and brings his hand up to his head in pain, "ok Kai, you need to rest, sit on the bed I'll be right back," you say as you rush out of the room and quickly go down the stairs of Kai's house and into the kitchen.

You go into the freezer to find something cool to put on Kai's bruised when you find an ice pack, once you grab it you turn around to see a dark haired girl who looked kind of like Kai, "who are you?" The girl asked confused, "um, a friend of Kai's," you say as she looks shocked at what you said because she didn't think he had any friends. "I'm sorry, who are you?" You ask her as you walk closer to the stairs, "I'm Kai's twin sister, Jo," she says as you look at her smiling, now you know why her and Kai look so much alike.

"Ok well, I better get going so bye," you say smiling at her, her smiling back at you and walking up the stairs.

You rush into Kai's room and see him laying on the bed in pain, "oh my god, here, I got you ice for your bruises," you say as you sit on the bed next to him and place the ice pack on his arm to begin with, "so, nice twin sister you got," you said as Kai looks at you confused until he realizes, "oh, you met Josette?" Kai says and keeps the ice on his forearm, you nod your head and smile.

"So are you going to tell me who does this to you? Cause I'm not leaving until you do," you say with a serious look on your face.

Kai just stares at you with the same death stare look he had on before. "Your stubborn, well since you proved to me your not a popular bitch you spreads rumors I'll tell you, my father." Kai says with a sad look on his face. You cover your mouth with your hand as a shiny tear falls down your face. "Kai," you whisper and pull him into a tight embrace, he was shocked since he had never felt that type of thing ever since he was small. He soon melts into your arms and cries softly into your chest. All Kai needed was to feel loved.

And that is what you wanted to give him.
