I was in the kitchen talking to Jeremy. "do you think you guys are going to find Stefan?" Jeremy asks me. "i don't know Jeremy, but i hope." Today is the day we are going to find him. Elena, Damon, and Alaric tried finding him in the woods of Tennessee, but it didn't work out.

Damon, Elena, and I are in His car. We are driving to Chicago. That's apparently where Stefan is. "I sure hope we find him, cause it would suck if the last moment of Stefan was that crappy old necklace."

"it's an antique Damon, like you." Elena says. I chuckled while i was sitting in the back, alone. I'm use to it by now. Damon hands me one of his journals from the last time he was in Chicago. "It's Stefan's diary, i'm not going to invade his private thoughts."

"you need to be prepared for what you guys are about to see." Damon says. "well it's a good thing Elena's dealing with Stefan." "what?" Elena says in confusion. "i'm helping Damon, and i don't care what you say Elena." Elena just rolls her eyes.

Damon starts to read his journal. At this point, i was getting mad. "wait, Stefan's not a virgin?" Damon jokes. Me and Elena roll our eyes. "eyes on the road grandma." Elena said with sass to Damon. "oh and Evie, you aren't helping me with Klaus." "yes i am, and there's nothing you can do about it."

We finally make it to Chicago. We went to his old apartment that he stayed in 1922. Damon keeps talking about how much Stefan killed people when he was last here. "if you're trying to scare me into giving up and not going with you Damon, it's not working-"

I get interrupted by him saying shh. He picks the lock and open's the door. We walk in, and as Damon calls it, Stefan's second personality home. Damon tells Elena to look, and she sees a bunch of names.

"these are all of his victims?" Elena asks. "are you still handling it." he smirks and walks away. "oh shut up!" I slightly shouted at him. Damon leaves us to think of a plan, while he goes down to a bar.

"now can you tell me who Klaus is.. i mean i am meeting him tonight." I said. "fine, i wanted to prevent you from all of this, but it is too late now." "Evie, Klaus is an original hybrid. He's werewolf and vampire. You need to be careful around him, do you understand?" She says very seriously. "yes, of course i'll be careful." She still didn't go into detail, but that's the most i've gotten since aunt Jenna died.

Me and Elena just almost got discovered by Klaus. Well i mean me. We heard footsteps and she hid in the bedroom, when i hid where Stefan's hit list was. So yes, Stefan saw me, and so did Klaus.

Me and Elena was hiding behind a wall after i went off on her. Damon walks in. "finally i called you an hour ago!" Elena shouts at Damon. "make yourself presentable, Evie, you look fine." "I know where Stefan is going to be tonight." Damon adds while tossing a bag of clothes to Elena

"I told you that we were practically discovered by Klaus-" I interrupted her by fake coughing. "sorry Evie almost got discovered by Klaus and you are wondering what i'm wearing?" She continues to say.

"I had an hour to realize what a bad idea it was to leave you both here alone, process it and move on." Then he asks if we both were ok and we say yes. "so you know where he will be?" Elena asked Damon. "yes, with Klaus. So me and Evie will distract Klaus and you deal with Stefan." Damon gets serious. "Elena, you're going to have about 5 minutes tops before that hybrid freak rips out my heart."

"Wait what?" I didn't know that's what Elena meant by be careful. Damon saw you were about to change your mind. "ok let's go." as Damon says that, he grabs your arm and pulls you with him.

"why did you pull me, i can walk." i said jokingly. "cause i can't have you backing out, Klaus doesn't know about you yet, gives me a couple minutes before i stall him." He demands at me. "I'm not backing out, this is for Elena." He nodded and we kept walking to the bar Damon was at before.

"Evie, you have to sell this, Klaus can't know your sister is alive. got it." "yes i got it Damon, i know what i'm doing."

Me and Damon see Stefan and Klaus talking at the bar. Damon signals Stefan to come by him and for me to go up to Klaus. I walk up to the bar, pouring myself water, since i'm underage. "well you aren't Stefan, love." I roll my eyes. I just need him to keep talking. "what's your name." Klaus asks me.

"Are you really asking an underage girl what her name is, that seems like flirting." I say with a lot of sass. "so you are a play hard to get type of person." He says with a bunch of confidence. "who are you cause i can kill you in a second." He says as he grabs my neck.

"i'm Evie Gilbert." I shout as i try gasping for air. "hmm another Gilbert, why haven't I heard of you before..and why are you here?" "I'm here trying to mourn my dead sister, as you know." "hope you know i didn't enjoy killing Elena, just collateral damage for me." He says and laughs.

I look and see Damon. He nods at me. I go to leave but Klaus grabs my wrist. "hope to see you again... goodbye love." I roll my eyes at him. I walk past Damon. "looks like someone has a crush on you." Damon whispers. "oh shut up." I tell him.

I leave the bar and see Elena about to put vervain in Stefan but he turns around and grabs her hand. I flinch a little, never seen Stefan that way.

"how much clearer can I make it? I don't want to come home!" Stefan shouts. I'm kind of standing by the exit of the door to the bar. I bet Damon is getting tortured right now. "Klaus is obsessed with siring these hybrids, the second he knows you're alive, he'll figure out why it's not working." Stefan says after a minute of awkward silence.

"look, i know you're trying to protect me, but i can't let you do it." Elena replied back to him. "what do you expect me if i do come back? huh!" Stefan yells. "It's never going to be the same!!" Stefan adds. Elena knows that. "i've lifted bodies scattered from Florida to Tennessee. innocent people, humans."

"I don't want to see you, I don't want to be with you... i just want you to go." He says and vamp speeds off. I run to Elena giving her the biggest hug .

We go in the car and wait for Damon. Damon looks pretty bruised up. "you ok Elena?" Elena demands him to just drive and he did.

We finally get home. Damon let's us in. "Evie you did your part good." "I didn't, he tried to kill me." "But now Klaus has a distraction, you..." He said. "what? Damon you make no sense." "He likes you, so you are going to have to keep putting up with it." I said fine and closed the door on him...
