Brahma, Bhumidevi, Devas worshipped be,
Lord Vishnu for deliverance unmistakably,
Vishnu incarnated as Sri Ram subsequently,
Eldest son of Kosala's king Dasarath finally.
His eternal consort, Lakshmi born be,
As Sita - Sri Ram’s wife accordingly,
To free all from evil of Ravan actually,
Who was causing distruction, misery.
Life of Sri Ram devotion to dharma be,
Despite harsh tests in life doggedly,
An ideal man and perfect human be
Revered for endless compassion truly.
His courage, virtues and his piety,
Devotion to religious values and duty,
Who for his father's honour undeniably
Dumped even his throne with humility.
He served exile of fourteen years fully,
Roaming in forests, self-accepting be,
His beloved wife Sita kidnapped be,
So he waged war with Ravan's army.
Slaying Ravan he liberated Sita finally,
Was crowned Ayodhya’s king ultimately,
Ram Rajya then came with prosperity,
Wherein happiness, peace, justice be.
