At the same time, Skye was wandering around the backyard looking for Zuma. When she couldn't find him at the Lookout, she thought thst he was at the beach. And she was right. When Skye saw Zuma, her heart was pounding faster than a hamster on a treadmill.
Zuma: "Hey Skye! What'we you doing hewe?
Skye: "H-hi Zuma, I was actually looking for you. *breathes nervously* How do I say this, Zuma, ever since the moment I laid my eyes on you, you have been the most caring, friendliest, coolest and most compassionate pup ever, what I'm trying to say is, Zuma... will you be my boyfriend?"
A huge silence hung in the atmosphere. Even the seagulls had stopped squawking. Skye waited patiently for Zuma's answer.
Zuma: "Wow, Skye... I didn't know you felt that way about me. I guess I'll think about it..."
Skye: "A-alright Zuma. Well... I'll see you around..."
After an awkward moment, Skye headed back to the Lookout.
