Love of Fate

Prologue

Ano nga ba ang pag-ibig?

Is it all the same?

Is it different?

Does it heal?

Does it hurt?

They named me after the word love,  Amor.  

But why do I feel like I am not being loved?

Mahal nga ba ako ng mga magulang ko?

Bakit hindi ko sila kasama habang lumalaki ako?

At sa tuwing magkasama kami hindi naman buo ang atensyon nila sa akin? 

I am Amor Fatima Lim. The origin of my name is from the latin phase Amor Fati which translates to Love of Fate.

Amor fati is a mindset where a person sees each and every event in life is important. They don't care if the day is joyful or unpleasant. A person would simply accept every challenge in any circumstances with arms wide open. 

To live without regrets and accept for what life could offer. They are willing to live life as it is. To live just to accept ones fate without questioning the universe. 

But I want to question the universe.  

Gusto ko siyang tanungin kung bakit hindi ako nakakaramdam ng pagmamahal mula sa mga taong dapat sana mahal ako. 

Can I love someone?

Paano kung ayaw kong sundin ang nakatadhana para sa akin? 

Can I write my own fate?

The Lims
Ang mga respetado at kilalang doktor sa Pilipinas. God knows when it started but they were known as the family of well trained doctors. They made sure to live up to that family name even though it would not bring happiness to some of them.

Amor Fatima is one of the few.

She's not really fond of the idea of her wearing a white coat, bringing a stethoscope and simply working in a specific medical field.

Hindi naman sa she despised this line of work. it's just- not for her.

Para sa kanya gusto niyang magtayo ng matibay na bahay, mga tulay, mga daan, mga gusali, water dams at iba't ibang pang imprastaktura.

In short, ang isang batang mula sa pamilya ng mga doktor ay gustong maging isang ganap na inhenyera.

It's not that big of a deal diba? but for her family it is.

But all of us are different. We all have different lives and realities. May mga taong nabubuhay na masaya at minsan lang nagkakaproblema.

Hanz Stefan on the other hand is living a carefree life and loved by most people.
Walang ibang binigay ang mundo sa kanya kundi ang mga araw ng kasiyahan.

Everyone envies him for having a so called perfect face, family, and a whole perfect life.

May kalungkutan din naman sa buhay niya but most of his memories of living in this world is happy.

Just like when he was with her.
