Traitor : Chapter 1

A sigh sounded through the office of UA's principal. The small chimera let himself fall into his leather chair. He often felt like people didn't take him seriously enough, he had plans to destroy whole countries just in case but yet there were people that just thought of him as a simple principal.

It was another one of these moments, maybe even worse, after all, they dared to question his intelligence. He needed a plan and he needed it quick. The hero commission was out for blood, now it was his choice if it would be his or his student's.

Friday afternoon, a video had been send to Japan's Hero commission. A Video showing Izuku Midoriya talking to Tomura Shigaraki to be specific.

Nezu doubted that this was truly Izuku Midoriya, after all, there are many people with transformation quirks out there, the League of Villains had one themselves. Another reason for his doubt was the fact that Izuku was one of  UA's most promising students and also All Might's successor.

However, The Hero commission wanted the UA Traitor and they wouldn't wait much longer, the press had come to the same conclusion as them and they wanted the culprit. Some parents even thought about pulling their children out of school.

He needed to stall them long enough for him to find the true culprit.

Nezu gritted his teeth.

They had him cornered. 

He knew that he wouldn't be able to stall them long enough. A Sacrifice had to be made.

The door to 1-A's classroom flew open with a loud bang before multiple heavily armed people entered, immediatly aiming their guns at the plain looking greenette.

Their homeroom teacher immediatly readied himself to attack them but he was stopped by his superior entering the room. "What is the meaning of this, Nezu?!" Aizawa hissed at the smaller creature. He had a blank face, the black button like eyes showing no sign of emotion. "I'm here to arrest Izuku Midoriya, the UA traitor", gasps filled the room.

A few of the students looked like they were about to disagree but Nezu continued "We have found evidence showing Izuku Midoriya meeting the Leader of the League of Villains. As UA's principal, I have to eliminate any kind of security breach immediatly" He sounded almost robotic, no anger or malice in his voice, not even his usual cheerful tone.

"Principal Nezu is one of the smartest beings on earth, so I guess..." yaoyorozu mumbled as she came out of her initial shock. "He suddenly gained a quirk... Kamino ward... He wasn't crying because of All Might..." Bakugou muttered, it suddenly all made sense to him. He balled his fist, "Was that hero shit all a lie, deku!?" He yelled. The greenette flinched, he hadn't moved since the door had opened, he was just staring at his desk with empty eyes. He finally broke out of his trance, tears streaming down his face. "I-I... I- d-didn.. n't.. I-" he stuttered out between sobs. 

"He always seemed off" Uraraka started,

"He was way too interested in our quirks and then his creepy muttering...",

"He always seemed weird. In one moment he would blankly stare at a wall and in the next he would seem overly happy" Kaminari pointed out.

"G-Guys... Please! You have to believe me!" Izuku yelled out.

"I'd never-"

"Mr. Midoriya, don't resist and follow me" Nezu interrupted. Izuku however didn't react, like he hadn't even heard it. Only when one of the policemen pushed him up from his seat, towards the door, he finally snapped out of it, following along while sobbing quietly.

His mentor was already waiting for him outside the door, a glimpse of hope flickered in Izuku before he realised that the angered expression on his face was directed at him. "Midoriya, I chose wrong, give it back." The skeletal figure spoke.

Izuku's body became more numb with each word, he didn't even feel it when he plucked a hair from his own head and gave it to All Might. Everything felt numb. He knew this feeling well, it had always been there. Whenever Bakugou had beat him up again and he was limping home once again. Whenever he heard his name, Deku. It was always there. A feeling like he was drifting off into the ocean without an anchor.

When Izuku finally snapped out of it, he found himself sitting in a police car with Nezu next to him.

"-sorry, Midoriya. I will find the true Traitor, I just need time." The Chimera ended his speech, a look of compassion in the button eyes. With that, he left the car, leaving the boy alone, waiting to be taken away.
