"what if?"

gouji's pov:

(p) gouji: mum im going outside for a bit!
gouji's mum: ok don't be out too long!
(p) gouji: yea yea

I stumble out of the door waving to my mother. after I leave I start walking slowly down the street looking for something to do when I realise someone around my age, but he isn't just walking around or hanging out with friends. he was getting beat by some older people who are like 15-16 years old. so of course my stupid little self walked up to them.

gouji: heyo 

I smile as if nothing is happening.

older person: oi what do u want kid
gouji: oh nothing 
older person: then why are u here!
gouji: this is why

I stop smiling and I kick him in the stomach making him cough up blood. his "friends" start coming towards me. I start beating them while they got a few hits on me. after that I wipe the sweat off of my face.

baji: u-uh thanks
gouji: Oh you're welcome
baji: Uhm who are u?
gouji: oh my name is gouji!
baji: oh cool my name is baji
gouji: nice!
baji: calm down ur really loud
gouji: sorry

I laugh awkwardly. after we talked for a little went out to different places such as the bowling alley, cha-time for boba and we were off to the beach, our last place. he seemed like a cool guy and I hope we stay friends in the future.

gouji: we are here yes!
baji: yep

I start running down to the sand I rip off my shirt and jump into the water. he followed but just sat on the sand. so I stop jumping around in the water and look at him in confusion as im tilting my head.

gouji: u getting in will I make u
baji: I would like to see u try pipsqueak
gouji: bet!

I quickly get out of the water running towards him and I lift him over my shoulder.

baji: h-hey! I didn't mean it!
gouji: u asked for it

I run back into the water as he's trying to get me to let go. I then carefully throw him into the water. I start laughing hysterically.

baji: gouji it's not funny
gouji: it is I'm sorry

before I could stop laughing he grabs me and pulls me in. he starts laughing.

baji: that's what u get
gouji: ok fine u win
baji: I always win
gouji: let's test that theory

we both start wrestling in the water and splashing each other. it was really fun having someone my age to hang out with instead of being inside all day. after splashing and fighting each other we say our goodbyes and walk home for the day. that was the day I and baji met. we were still in elementary school and would always hang out whenever we could.
