Shot 2 - Love and Crosses

Next day.
Khanna's mansion.
Avni is sitting idle in her room and engrossed in the pool of thoughts.
She is still upset and sad.
Neil trying his best to cheer up her.
Even Neil couldn't see her in that state.
In the night after dinner,Neil went to avni's room and saw her who is still.looking sad.
Neil cleared his throat.
Avni looked at him and passed a smile.
Avni : Ayiye sir...
Neil entered inside while smiling.
Neil : Kya kar rahe ho akele....
Avni : Kuch nahi...bass aise hee bait rahi thi.
Neil : Aisa akele baithne se kuch nahi hoga.
Kabhi kabhi dusron ke sath time spend karna bhi chahiye.
Avni : Akelepan ki adat ho gayi.
Neil felt bad for her.
Avni : Neil tum bohot lucky ho...tumhare pass itna pyara sa pariwar hain jo mere pass nahi nahi.
Sach mein Neil...jo pyar aur kushi hume apni family se milte hain na,vo kisi aur se nahi milegi.
Neil : Phir tum bhi lucky ho.
Avni chuckled sadly.
Avni : Meine hamesha chacha chachi ko bohot pyar kiya,socha ek na ek din vo jaroor mujhe bhi pyar karenge.
Lekin shayad mein galat thi.
Vo log sirf meri property se pyar karte hain.
Neil held his hand with his.
Neil : Mein tumhara chacha chachi ke bare mein nahi baat kar raha tha...
Mein yaha hamari family ke bare mein baat kar rahi hoon.
Meri family tumhari bhi family hain Avni.
Tum kabhi math kehna ki tum unlucky ho.

And mein sach mein lucky hoon,lekin sirf aur sirf pyar karne wali family hone ki vajah se hee nahi....balki tumhari jaisi ek achi dost Milne ki vajah se bhi.
Neil pulled her cheek.
Avni smiled in tears.
And he wiped her tears.
Neil : Kabhi bhi aisa math kaho ki tumhe pyar karne wali family nahi hain....hum hain na.
Avni smiled.
Neil : Ok...ab no more crying.
Chalo na yarr bohot bore ho raha hoon Ghar mein bait ke...
Bahar chalte hain.
Avni : Neil...ab kaha jaoge??
Time dekho.10 baje baj gaye.
Neil : So what??
Chalo na avu...pls....
Avni : Nahi...sab datenge hume.
Neil : Nahi kuch nahi hoga.
Chalo ab.
Avni : Ok wait let me change.
Neil : No need...aise bhi thik lag rahi ho.
Chalo ab.
Avni : Sach mein,mein thik lag rahi hoon na??
Neil : Haa baba chalo..
Avni : ok.
Later left from the house.
Now they both are enjoying the icecream.
Neil is blabbering continuosly while Avni is listening to him.
Avni : Neil tumhara posting kab hoga??
Neil : Shayad ek hafte mein..
I hope sab acha ho jaye.
Avni : Pakka...mujhe pura barosa hain.
Tum jaroor ek achi IPS officer banoge.
Neil : I hope.
Avni smiled in assurance.
Later Neil looked at a lovely couple who is sharing their icecream with eachother and he smiled.
Avni looked at the same direction and then at neil.
And she decided to tease him.
Avni : Neil.....why r u smiling??
Neil : Kuch nahi.
Avni : Acha..phir tum uss couple ko dekh ke kyun hass rahe ho??
Neil : Dekh liya??
Avni : Haa tho??
Neil smiled again.
Avni : Tum apni future wife ko imagine kar rahe ho na??
Neil : Kuch bhi...matlab kuch bhi??
Avni : Kya pata...
Neil : aisa kuch nahi hain yarr..
Avni : phir kaisa hain??
Ok....mujhe tho lagta hain ki tum kisi ladki se pyar karte ho.
Neil smiled.
But behind that smile there is a pain and hurt.
Neil : Sach batau??
Avni : Joot tho bolna nahi hain tumhe, phir sach hee boldo.
Neil chuckled.
Neil : Ek ladki hain jisse mein bohot pyar karta hoon.
Bohot.....
Pehli najar mein hee hogaya tha pyar.
Aaj bhi kar raha hoon...aur karta rahunga.
Avni is listening to him but somewhere she felt hurt.
Only she would knew the reason.
Avni : Koi picture hain uss ladki ki??
Neil : Nahi...
Aaj Tak usse bol bhi nahi payi..
Avni : kyun??
Neil : V..vo kisi aur se pyar karti hain.
Avni felt sad for him.
Avni : Sorry yarr...
Neil : Sorry kyun??
Avni : Aur tumne ye sab mujhe aaj tak kyun nahi bataya??
Neil : Ab tho bataya na yarr..
Avni : Nahi...tum mujhe se ye sab kyun chupa ke rakha hain??
Neil : Ok...ek baat bolu??
Avni : haa.
Neil : Ye baat sab se pehle tumse hee share kiya.
Avni smiled.
Avni : Tum na Neil....aise hee phigal deti ho insan ko.
Neil laughed again.
Neil : Par tum ye sab tum kisi aur se math kehna.
Avni : Ye sirf Avni aur Neil ke beech mein hee rahega.
Neil : Good.
Avni : Lekin vo ladki bohot unlucky hain jisne tum jaise ek acha insan ko kho diya.
Neil looked straight into her eyes.
Neil : Lekin vo ladki bohot achi hain Avni....bilkul tumhari tarah.
Avni noded her head.
Avni : Ab ghar chalte hain.
Neil : Mann nahi hain yarr..
Avni : Nahi Neil...Shweta maa...dategi.
Chalo ab..
Neil surprised when she addressed his mom as "Shweta maa"
Avni too realised that she addressed Shweta as "Shweta maa".
Avni : V..vo...sorry...
Neil : Pagal ho tum.
Itni si baat ke liye sorry kaun kehta hain yarr....
I'm happy because you addressed her as "maa".
Agar mom sunegi tho vo bohot khush hogi.
Avni : Lekin mujhe hak nahi hain Neil.
Avni said while smiling sadly.
Neil : Jitna hak mujhe hain utna hak tumhe bhi hain usse maa kehne ki.
Tho ye sab chodo.
Tum ko jaisa bol na aisa hee bulao.
Avni smiled.
Avni : Ab chale?
Neil : Haa chalo..

Later they were sleeping in their respective rooms.
Neil again engrossed in the pool of thoughts.
Avni too.
Sleep is far way from them.
Whenever Neil is beside her,she is forgetting everything and she is being happy.
But afterwards she is being dull and silent.
Unknowingly a tear escaped from her eyes.
She is remembering the day when vidyut proposed her in a very terrific way.
He forced her to love him back.
Even though she didn't liked him in the beginning later she trusted him.
She thought that vidyut really loves her.
But at last she left betrayed by him.

Two years ago.
Surat.
Avni and Neil joined together in that college.
They both are best friends since 3years when they joined the college.
Neil always supported her in every difficult phases of her life.
So they finally took admission in the college and  joined in their respective hostels.
Avni studied there with the help of scholarship.
Vidyut is parallel to them.
Neil belongs to the other department as he wanted to become an IPS officer.
Everything was going perfect until vidyut attracted towards Avni.
Avni and vidyut were in the same class.
Avni used to sit with Riya in the classroom.
As she is an introvert Avni doesn't like to Interact with other people except Neil,riya and Ali.
Neil used to took care of everything when comes to Avni.
He has always been her support system.
When they were in 4th year.
It was valentine's day.
February 14th.
Vidyut : Avniiii.....
Everyone heard the voice and started to check around from where the sound is getting.
And then they spotted vidyut on the 7thfloor of the building.
That was the last floor.
Avni shocked when she looked him standing in the edge.
All started to shout.
Vidyut : I love you Avniii...
I love you...
Avni again shocked to the core.
She didn't expected this kind of situation.
Riya : Avnii...
Avni looked towards her with tearful and fearful eyes.
Avni : R..riya mujhe dar lag raha hain.
Riya : Nahi Avni..
Avni : Neil ko bulao..pls...
Riya : Vo aata hee hoga.
Vidyut : Avni....I want your answer.
Again he shouted holding a rose in his hands.
He is really mad.
Vidyut : Avni agar tum mujhe I love you nahi bologe na.....phir mein yaha se sucide karlunga.
Her eyes widened in a fear.
Avni : R...riya...
Riya : Mujhe kuch samaj nahi araha hain Avni...
Meanwhile each and everyone shouting for vidyut.
Vidyut : Avni...mein sach mein guth jaunga yaha se...
Saying this he stepped forward..
Everyone astonished at him.
Avni : Nahii....
Avni started sweating and at the same time she is tensed.
Now everyone started to force Avni to accept his proposal.
But Avni does not have idea.
She didn't have any feelings for him.
Avni never ever talked to him.
Again vidyut stepped forward..
Avni widened her eyes...
Avni : No...pls....
Vidyut : Mein mar jaunga Avni...
Now students are forcing her to tell him "I love you".
Tear started to flow from her eyes.
Avni : I..love...you....
She mumbled slowly which is not even audible to near by people.
Riya : Avniii...nahi yarr..
Avni : Mere pass aur koi rasta nahi hain riya...
Riya : Vo aisa kuch nahi karega Avni...
Vidyut : Avni.....
Avni looked at him with a terrified face.
Again students forcing her to propose him back loudly as she is not audible to him.
Avni : I...l..love...you...
Vidyut : I can't hear you...
Avni lost her control...
Avni : I....love ..you .....
She shouted loudly.
And bursted into tears.
Vidyut smiled and smirked.
He stepped back and came to the ground.
In this way vidyut made her to propose him.
Later,he used to behave like normal and polite.
Avni trusted him that he really loves her.
Neil didn't interfere in this matter as she herself told him I love you.
So he stayed calm.
Riya is not fine with vidyut as he look like a play boy.
But neil always used to be around her as he doesn't want to hurt her.
Avni used to stay calm and polite after this incident.
Neil couldn't do anything.
Somehow that one-year had passed and their college ended.
And vidyut proposed her for marriage.
When she left her house for him he cheated her.
He betrayed her.
She never loved him.She was ready to adjust for the sake of his life.
He made it forcefully.
Even though she was forced to propose him,Neil thought that Avni too loves him.
Flashback ended.

Avni wiped her tears and closed her eyes.
After struggling a lot,however she slept.
A week passed.
One fine day,all are having breakfast.
Just then,post man arrived there with an envelope.
Hearing a bell sound bheema went to open the door.
Postman : Neil khanna??
Bheema : ji abhi bulati hoon..
Bheema informed him.
Neil went out,signed and took the envelope.
He opened it.
Soon his lips curved for a wide smile.
Neil jumped in happiness...
Everyone looked suprised.
Shweta : Arre...kya hua tillu..
Neil : Mom....mera posting hogaya mom.
Finally mein IPS ban gaya.
All smiled in happiness.
Bebe : Shukar hain rab ka...
Prakash hugged him and congratulated him.
Shweta too.
Bebe : Congratulations puttar..
Neil bent to took her blessings.
Bebe : Humesha khush raho.
Avni came to him.
Avni : Congratulations Neil.
Meine kaha tha na tum IPS pakka banoge.
Neil : Thanku avu.
And he hugged her from behind.
Shweta : Party tho banti hain...
Bebe : Haa bhai...kyun nahi...
All are engrossed in their happiness.
Finally he achieved his dream.
He really worked hard to reach his goal.
Later,at night.
Avni is standing in the balcony and looking at the moon.
Avni : Akhir mein kab tak aisa rahungi.
Kuch tho karna hoga.
Mein iss ghar mein aisa nahi reh sakti.
Her phone started ringing.
Avni : iss vakt kon ho sakta hain..
It's a call from riya.
Avni answered with a slight smile.
Avni : Riyaa...
Riya : Avi....kaise ho yarr...
Avni : Mein thik hoon Riya tum kaise ho??
Riya : Mein bhi thik hoon.
But mujhe tumhari awaz se lag rahi hain ki tum thik nahi ho.
Avni chuckled.
Riya : sorry Avni..mein sab Jaan chuki hoon.
Avni : Tum kyun sorry bol rahi ho...
Khair chodo
Tum batao..kaha ho tum??
Riya : Avni ye sab baad mein baat karenge.
Filhal mujhe tumse ek bohot important baat kehna hain..
Avni : Haa bolo riya.
Sab thik haina???
Riya : Haa Avni
Avni : phir??
Riya : Avni...N..Neill...
Avni : Haa Neill...
Riya : V .vo....Neil...
Avni : Riya kya hua hain tumhe bolo...
Ali who is beside riya took the phone from riya.
Ali : Avni Neil tumse pyar karta hain...

That's it....It's a biggest shock for her.
Avni sat on her bed with a thud.
Avni : K..kya??
Ali : Haa Avni...Neil tumse chupa Raha hain ye baat...
Ab se nahi,balki Sath saal se pyar kar raha hai tumse...
