Their sleep broken by the ring of kartik's phone

She looked at him and found herself in his embrace
He immediately left her without breaking the eye lock

Again his phone started ringing

They came out from the eye lock and received the call
It was Swarna

"Yes mom!" He said over the phone

"What are you doing kartik , kabse call kar rahi hu" Swarna said

"Vo sorry Mom actually I slept" he said looking at her , who was busy to fixing her red net dupatta

"Ohh okay , is naira awake" She asked

"Yes mom" he said

"Then give the phone to her" Swarna said kartik called her

"Umm naira , mom want" he gave her his phone

"Yes aunty" naira said

"What are you doing bacha" Swarna asked politely

"Actually aunty o also slept" She said slowly

"It's okay beta , don't worry you must be tired , but beta where is your phone" Swarna

"What happened aunty, mera phone matlab" She said

"Vo akshara ji called Manish ji to know about you, she called you so many times but you didn't pick up" Swarna

"Vo aunty main na mera phone sayad nagpur ke ghar mein hi vul ayi hu , kyun ki mere pas to hai hi nhi" naira said

"Ohh okay that's fine , koi bat nhi Mumbai jake main kartik se kahunga ek new phone tumhare liye le ayega vo" Swarna said

"No aunty I mean...." She hesitate

"What no ?? Maine keh diya na bas , aur ha don't call me aunty , I'm your maa okay , you call me only maa" Swarna said with a smile

Thus it make naira smile also
Kartik was staring her like an idiot

"Okay maa" She said and they disconnect the call

Naira turned to give the phone to him
But she also stopped seeing kartik staring her

She lowered her lashes
And forward the phone to him
He take that and kept on his pocket

"I'm sorry vo nind ke time pta hi nhi chala kab main tumhare shoulder pe..... I'm sorry" She said fiddling with her finger

"It's okay" he said

Looking at her mehendi filled hands
Abd then her red chura

"Is not it heavy" he said pointing with his eyes to her chura

"Ha voht heavy hai" She said

"Then kholke rakhdo na" he said

"Nhi mumma ne kaha hai sare newly Wed woman aise chura 1 saal tak pehenti hai per agar main chahu to 1 mahine ke bad khol sakti hu" She said

"But yeh to boht heavy hai na" he said with concern

"Jitna heavy is wakt mera dil hai usse bhari to nhi hai na" She said with a faint smile

He remain silent hearing her
Tears forming from her eyes
She looked at her mehendi filled hands

**FLASHBACK **
"Ankit tumhara nam likhwau " naira asked to ankit , on their mehendi ceremony

"See naira I really don't like mehendi and it's smell , agar tum na hi lagwao to vi chalega" ankit shrugged his shoulder

With heavy heart She only draw the mehendi design

In her mind "Thank god usdin tumne mana kiya tha apne nam likhne ko , nhi to mere hat mein tymhara nam dekhje mujhe aur vi gusaa ata"

"Kitni der hai" naira asked Kartik

"Don't know may be more than 8 hours" Kartik said slowly

"Bhook lagi hai kya tumhe" kartik asked and she nodded her head because since morning she didn't ate anything

Kartik called Manish
"Dad , samne koi restaurant hai kya" Kartik asked

"Wait kartik main dekhta hu, actually bhook to mujhe vi boht laga hai" Manish said

"Naira ko bhook lagi hai dad , please jaldi pta kijiye" Kartik said

And naira looked at him

"Bhook to lagega hi beta 9 hours ho gaya hai , abhi bhi boht der hai Mumbai pouchne mein , wait mujhe check karne do" he said and they disconnect the call

"Tumhe bhook nhi laga hai kya" She asked

"Nhi , actually agar laga vi hai to mujhe ota nhi chalta hai because I'm habituated, office mein ghante bhar kam karne ke bad bhook kab aya kab gaya pta hi nhi chalta hai" he said with a smile

"Then to tum bimar pad jaoge, maa papa kuch kehte kyun nhi" She asked

He smiled a bit

"Unhe koi parwa hoga tab kuch kahenge na" he said looking at her

"Parwa kyun nhi hai kartik??" She asked

"For them I'm arrogant , rude , unhe lagta hai mujhe khud ka khyal khud rakhna ata hai but they didn't know , how much I need them , I love my parents so much but yes mujhe jatana nhi ata hai isiliye unhe lagta hai main humesa apne world mein busy rehta hu" he said

Naira didn't know what to say

She kept numb

Manish called kartik

"Yes dad" he spoke

"Kartik ek restaurant mila hai but it's not 5 star , are you okay with that" Manish asked

"Main naira se puchta hu dad" Kartik said to Manish

"Naira yaha ek restaurant hai per 5 star ngi hai tumhe chalega na " he asked and she nodded positively

"Okay dad hum wahi pe rukte hai then"

They had their food from the restaurant and again settled on car

After more 8 hours long journey they reached goenka villa
