22. Please let's not even talk about that..

Kol laughs at Elijah's words. "Please my niece is anything but afraid of scary things. Especially her own father. She may be little but she is wise beyond her years. " Kol says smiling

"She is not my daughter!" Nik yells at him.

"Kol this might be good time to explain how our vampire brother who cannot have children have a daughter." Elijah points out.

Kol sighs.

"Nik you may be a vampire but you are also a werewolf and since you broke your curse it has allowed you to procreate. Hence the magical miracle baby. Believe or not Hope is your daughter and you better accept it fast because she needs you right now." Kol explains.

"You are lying!" Nik growls again.

Kol sighs

"I am not lying foe god sake! She is your daughter. Don't you see it. She is just like you. She love to paint , she is short tempered. If not then look at her eyes, they are yours." Kol yells at him.

"No! it can't be possible!" Nik whispers to himself.

Kol laughs.

"Yes Nik, the puppy eyes you would anything for are one of the things she inherited from you. Nik please for once clear your head and look at the beautiful little girl you have." Kol softly says trying to make Nik believe him and from the looks of it Elijah and Finn are already believing him.

"Please Mr. Mikaelson believe him. Hope is your daughter and she really needs you right now." Lizzie says to him.

"If this is true then how do you know? You knew it even before I knew about it. Also what is she talking about? She talked to me like she have always known me whereas she shouldn't even know about me." Nik asks looking at Kol with glossy eyes.

Kol looks at Lizzie and sighs.

"Kol I think we should tell them the truth about how we actually came here." She says softly.

"Look at that Elijah apparently our brother have more secrets he have hidden from us. " Nik sneers at Kol.

"The truth is Hope is from the future and so is Lizzie." Kol drops the bomb making everyone widen their eyes.

"Kol what the hell are you talking about?" Finn asks looking alarmed and so does Elijah.

"Kol enough with games. For once tell us the truth and don't make stupid lies." Nik sneers at him.

"I am telling the truth Nik." as Kol dives deep into how Hope and Lizzie came here and how she changed the course of their lives.

"What about you? How do you know everything? Why would Hope tell her most unpredictable uncle about all of this." Elijah asks.

"Hey! For your kind information I am her favourite uncle and I am quite responsible with her." Kol pouts offended at Elijah's words.

"Yes Kol I know you are more responsible than an eight year old. Now answer the bloody question." Nik chuckles at his antics.

"Hope told me everything when I myself found myself in the bloody past." Kol shrugs.

At his words Nik, Elijah and Finn's eyes widen.

"Wait you are from the future too?!" Nik exclaims.

Kol chuckles

"Yes. And as much as I hate it a part of me is happy that now I get to make everything alright, give Hope the family she deserves." Kol says.

"When did that happen?" Elijah asks.

"You remember when Damon daggered me?" at which they nod " yeah so when I woke up I was actually in past according to me." Kol laughs at their expressions.

At which everyone just looks at each other and laughs.

when their laugh dies down Nik's eyes find Lizzie.

"And what about you? Who are you? Is you name even lizzie or not?" Nik roughly asks.

" Yes ! Of course! Please I'll be stupid to lie to the original family. I quite value my life." Lizzie retorts.

"Come on Nik don't tell me you don't recognize that sass and bitchiness." Kol asks laughing.

Nik looks at him confused.

"Please you were all over that person on the day of the ball. Especially sending that dress and a personal invitation to her house." Kol looks at him finding all of this funny,

"Please let's not even talk about that. It was disgusting. Can you think me and Hope had to see her father and my mother flirt with each other. It was quite nauseating." Lizzie pretend to be barfing.

At her words Nik's eyes widen.

"Caroline is your mother? How? She is a vampire and they can't have children." Nik exclaims.

"She is my surrogate mother but since our birth mother died before our birth she was the only mom we ever had so yeah she is our mother, she gave birth to us and she raised us." Lizzie says defensively.

"Lizzie it's alright. He was just asking." Kol calms her down and ruffles her hair at which she shoves her hand annoyed.

Hope and Rebekah comes down from their clean up. For some reason Hope feels extremely shy about her outburst before and stands at the doorway looking at them.

Nik, Elijah, Kol, Finn and Lizzie turns to look at her and she avoids their eyes.

"Somehow I always forget that she was a really shy child." Kol whispers to himself but all the vampires heard him.

Nik's POV

For a small time I forgot about the truth of Hope being my actual daughter. God she is beautiful. I can't believe something so innocent and pure came from me. I already thought Hope as a daughter but finding out that she is actually my daughter is quite overwhelming.

I can feel tears coming down my eyes as I realise that she is really me daughter and it's like suddenly everything make sense like my miserable life have finally found its purpose and it's to protect this little girl with everything I have.

I crouch and spread my arms as an invitation for her and she give me dazzling smile before running toward me and hugging me tightly. I realised that from now on everything I do is for her and nothing is going to take her away from me.

THIRD PERSON POV.

Everyone have a smile on their face looking at the father-daughter duo. Kol also had glossy eyes remembering what happened in the future.

Lizzie was however quite shocked to see that 'Klaus Mikaelson The Great Evil' was actually just a father that loves his daughter too much. She feels like her dad was wrong to write such a wonderful person like he was some monster. She couldn't even imagine hoe Hope felt when she read those books and see that her father who loves her so much and Is an amazing person is written like a monster.

Lizzie cannot understand her father's opinion about Klaus or even the whole Mikaelson family when all they have been is kind to her and the way all they want is keep their family safe.

Hope and Nik break their hug as Nik holds her at arms distance.

"You are safe. Nothing is going to harm my little girl, nothing would even get close. You're all that matters to me." He tells her.

"I love you too dad!" she smiles at her dad happy that he is back with her. Nik looks shocked at the revelation but smiles at her.
