Makkari collects the child and gets it to safety

Kingo's eyes widen as he sees the sharp tentacle pierce through my arm leaving a small gash "Gaia!"

Ikaris says "Her savior is here, Kingo. I've got it aaaall covered."

Oh you're about to have it all covered all right.

Ikaris goes after me beaming cosmic energy out of his eyes. I shoot a beam of cosmic light from my hands down its throat and I quickly formulate light to cause myself to float up and away from the deviant that's due to explode in a few seconds

Druig smiles as Ikaris says "Giving up already Ga-" he can't even finish his sentence. I smile as the deviant explodes from the cosmic energy bomb I shot down it's throat as it was screeching at me. Guts completely cover Ikaris head to toe

Told you, Ikaris has it all covered. It, meaning his whole body. I smile and chime in "Hey Ikaris I think you have a little something on your chin. Just a smidge of something right there."

He turns back to me furious and says "You're dead, Gaia. Not wise to anger me."

"It's only my favorite past time, you know, I like to make that vein in your forehead really show. Kingo agrees. He thinks I'm hilarious."

Kingo says "Don't involve me in this. No matter how funny I think Ikaris covered in deviant guts is, we have deviants to kill, Ikaris. Not other eternals."

I smile to him as I fly away completely clean of deviant guts

Ikaris says to Kingo who's now watching us fly past him "How about ya help then?"

I swoop down and conjure up a ready attack for the incoming deviant. My hands spin above my head in a circular motion making the cosmic energy ball bigger

I throw it up hitting the deviants wing causing it to screech in pain and fall to the ground, it quickly spins towards me. Clearly, I pissed it off. It charges towards me now using its legs instead of wings. It leaps towards me as I raise my hands towards it and the hit lands against the side of its face scorching a few of it's tentacles off

It lands a scratch in at my face and I back bend to avoid serious damage provided from the deviant.

I kick at it's neck as I stand up from my back bend with a ball of cosmic energy waiting to be thrown. I toss the cosmic ball of energy in the air and leap up basically dunking the ball onto the back of this deviant. It scorches through the deviants back and chest. I grab the metal weapon off my belt and slice at the rest of it. And it falls, eyes roll back on the deviant and I step away looking to the others nearly completely wrapped up with their deviants. I step towards the clearing to look at the beautiful blue body of water with the white part of the waves crashing against the rocks

Once the last deviant is killed we all land and look to the humans we just saved from the deviant attackers. The ship reappears and the thinkers of the eternals; Ajak, Phastos, Sprite, and Sersi step off the plane. Druig comes to my right and I give him a small glance, he's staring straight ahead waiting for Ajak's directions

The humans point their wooden weapons towards us and Ajak's nods to me to address them after she touched my shoulder and healed the gashes I have on my body and face from the fight

I step forward and immediately Druig makes the humans drop their weapons to protect me. He controls them to remain still to hear me out. I am supposed to be percieved as the kind one of the group. I am the communicator to the humans. I am supposed to gain their trust. Ikaris would be to differ on that one I'm sure.

I walk to the youngest of the group of humans, the child I saved earlier down by the shore. The one that had to watch his father be eaten by a deviant. I look to his brown eyes and I grab ahold of his shoulders squatting down to meet eye level with him. He watches me with completely white eyes, he's still being controlled by Druig.

I smile to the boy in hopes of reassurance that he'll be alright, I turn towards the group of eternals and look to Druig and nod. Telling him I can handle the little boy, he no longer needs to be in control of him. Druig reductantly releases his control of the child and I say "I am Gaia." to the big brown eyed puppy of a kid. Wow those eyes just melt you. I look to the weapon in his hand and say "What do you have there? A weapon?"

He nods and remains pretty quiet in his communication

I nod for him to speak and he says "Miguel."

"Your name is Miguel?"

He nods and I say "My friend has a really, really cool trick that would make your pretty wooden weapon even cooler. Her names Sersi, she's in the green. Isn't she pretty?" I point towards Sersi and he nods and says "Super pretty."

I look to Sersi and smile I motion for her to walk over with the tilt of my head, as she walks over my eyes take a scan of the eternals watching me communicate with the young boy. I run my thumb under his eye sweeping the tear away.

Sersi reaches us and I grab the boys hand. I lift it and provide small little bubbles of warmth to heat up his cold hands. I gently lift his hand towards Sersi and she taps the sharp part of the blade to adapts his weapon and he hugs me tightly

My eyes and muscles relax

I look back towards the others and I nod to Druig to get him to have the child release me. I walk back over and Ajak says "Good work, Gaia. Let's go ahead and board the ship."
