A week past before Hermione and Draco went back home

"Mummy!"

"Mum!"

Teddy and Scorpius jumped her legs and she dropped to her knees and hugged them tightly

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry mummy—"

"I'm sorry Mum...I'm sorry..."

"I'm sorry my babies, I'm so sorry for fleeing"

The three of them cried with each other as Draco saw his mother hovering by the side, she looked smaller than Draco has ever seen her

"Mother—"

She looked at him and jumped into his arms, she cried into his shoulder as Draco soothed his mother

Hermione stood up and slowly walked to Narcissa

"I'm sorry—" Hermione began

"Oh no!" Narcissa cried and flung herself at the young witch "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Hermione, he was never—please forgive me?" Narcissa begged

Hermione hugged the older witch tightly

Hoping that her mother-like figure wouldn't think less of her for fleeing in a time of panic

"It's okay Hermione" Narcissa assured "a mother's love blinds all things, but a mother's pain makes them act mindlessly" she told her

Hermione sniffed and Narcissa wiped her tears

"Welcome home" Narcissa smiled

Hermione hugged her again before pulling away and seeing Harry and Ron hovering by the side, she pulled away from the Malfoy matriarch and hugged her two best friends, they all clung onto each other, they cried and apologized to each other

When Hermione pulled away, she kissed Harry and Ron's cheeks before going back to Draco

He took her hand and pulled her close

"Let's go home"

They apperated to their cottage and a tense silence was amongst them, Scorpius and Teddy clung onto Hermione as if they let go, she would run again, she ran her hands through their hairs she bent down and they hugged her tightly, she kissed their foreheads and whispered softly to them, they nodded hesitantly and slowly pulled away

They made their way to their room and Hermione got up slowly, she turned to Draco who was looking at her

She didn't say anything, she just extended her hand and took his, she led them to their bedroom and locked the door behind them, she led them to the bed and sat him down

He looked at her as she removed her shirt, it was followed by her pants and then her undergarment, she moved to straddle Draco and hugged him

He wrapped his arms around her waist and clung onto her

"Love me Draco" she whispered softly

"I already love you" he whispered

"No" she mumbled "make love to me"

He pulled his head back and looked into her eyes

"Hermione—"

"Marry me" she whispered

She pulled at his shirt and he took it off

Their chests were pressed and their heartbeats were in sync

"Hermione—"

"Draco Malfoy...will you marry me? Will you marry me even though I am stubborn...even though I am not as pure as your father would like me to be...even though I am a coward where I once had been a Gryffindor, will you marry me Draco? Even with all my faults? Will you still marry me?"

He brought her left hand to his lips and kissed her engagement ring

"I still want to marry you" he whispered "will all your faults...even if you're stubborn as a mule, even if you're not as pure as my father would wish, even though you are not as brave as you once had been, I'll marry you Hermione Granger, I want you to take my name and I want to be buried beside you when our time has run out, I want to find you in the next life just like I found you in this one" he said

His hands wandered her body, touching her in places that made her body ignite and desperate for him

"I want to have more children with you...I want to spoil you more than a king spoils his queen...I want to make love to you every night for the rest of our lives" he whispered

He flipped them over and hovered over her

"I want to love you, I want make love to you, I want to be one with you"

Hermione begged him

"Marry me Draco Malfoy" she whispered

"I'll marry you Hermione Granger"

He kissed her passionately and Hermione returned with favor

They made love all hours of the night, when their bodies were exhausted and their souls were reignited, they had gotten to know one another once again, both intimately and emotionally, soft kisses were given and their looked at each other with love that no other person had ever seen

Their magic cores danced with each other as they professed their love for each other

They laid naked in their bed, Draco traced constellations on her bare thigh

"Promise me something" he whispered softly, he kissed her shoulder and pulled her into his chest "promise me...that no matter how much we fight...no matter how much troubles we go through...you won't leave again...Scorpius, Teddy and this baby need you...I need you...so please...no matter what happens...you won't leave again...our family needs you...so promise me...promise me that no matter what...we'll talk before you leave" he whispered softly

She brushed his cheek

"I promise...I promise I won't leave" she whispered "I promise not lot run when things get hard, I won't run when we can talk and figure it out, I won't quit when it gets too hard...I'll talk...and I'll listen...I promise Draco, we'll take every measure in order to talk"

He nodded softly and went back to tracing constellations on her thigh

"I found a name" she whispered

He looked at her

"I found a name for our baby girl" she smiled

He was already looking at her with so much love and adoration that Hermione felt like if she put up every star in the sky

The amount of love she had for him was unexplainable, she wondered what she had done right in order to be have given this privilege of being loved by Draco

"Tell me"

She smiled and pushed him on his back, she moved to straddle him, she traced the name on his chest, he chuckled softly and nodded in agreement

"Perfect" he whispered "it's perfect for her"
