The Orphanage is ( was ) a home and school for Spies and assassins and fighters. They take small children who don't have families or who's family don't or can't feed them. They are trained in diplomacy, the act of murder and espionage. Some were trained in magic, if they have the talent. Then, when they are in their teens, they're sent from the head base in Nilem across the world to be sleeper cells, Court Plotters, and generals for armies. After their face becomes more recognizable, they are deactivated to live a more normal life, but they can be activated again if needed, because the loyalty to the orphanage is so ingrained that it could never be fully purged from them . many of them can't. there are currently three generations, the first generation is wiped out and so is the third, Done by 'Jack' who, already being extremely obsessives and compulsive, was told that he must step aside because people know his face. He is now on a rampage across Nilem, killing generations of the orphanage squads, and a year after the orphanage burned down, all of the remaining survivors of the orphanage's training is in the city, trying to figure out what is happening
