The lovestory of Chris and Street Chapter 21: A letter from a stranger

< It's been a while ever since Chris and Street moved in together. They made it their home. Street is by a shelf with picture frames and he holds the one with his mothers picture in it. Chris walks in with the groceries. Street is a little distracted and not really hearing Chris come home.>

Chris: Hey! Sorry it took so long, it was crazy in the store. Like everyone was harvesting all the stuff but i got what we needed.

< Chris sees Street looking at his mothers picture and holding a letter>

Street: Ok good..

<Chris walks up to him and wraps her arms around his waist>

Chris: Hey.. are you ok?

Street: Hey.. i'm ok..

Chris: You don't seem ok?

Street: Well i don't know if i'm ok? I got this letter but didn't open it yet..

Chris: Why not?

Street: Well i found out it's from the lawyer of my mother. I'm not sure if i wanna know what's in it..

Chris: Do you wanna open it together? <she looks at him, he looks back>.

Street: Yeah i think i want that.

< Chris grabs his hand and they walk to the couch. Street opens the envelope and starts reading>

Letter:

My sweet Jimmy,

When you get this letter, i'm no longer on this earth due to my own mistakes.
I want you to know how much i loved you, although i didn't always seem that way.
You were my only son, my world.
I made so many mistakes and i'm so sorry for that. I'm so happy you have Chris in your life.
Inside this envelope is something that i started ever since you were little.

I love you forever and always!

< Street sees a cheque in the envelope and it shows 10000 dollar on it. One tear is rolling down his face>

Chris: Hey! It's ok, it's ok to be upset and sad.

Street: I know, i just can't believe she did this. <he looks at chris and gives her a kiss and hug> Thanks baby for doing this with me.

Chris: Ofcourse<she hugs him>

Street: She left me so much money. But i'm not even sure it's legit money.

Chris: Don't worry about that now ok?  Just accept how it is.

Street: Come here baby! < Chris sits on his lap and they hug>
You have no clue how amazing you are.
