SYNOPSIS...
HOPE ADRIANA RODRIGUEZ never wanted to be a mother... her dream was to find a likeminded woman to marry, and adopt a bunch of cats with her, other than becoming a neurosurgeon of course. That all changed the day her younger sister got into a car accident and had been put in a coma, deeming her alive but unconscious. While worrying for the state of her sister, she took in her daughter as her own.
Hope's niece, Lolita was a ray of sunshine. At only eight years old, she saw the world as an incredible place. Everything was sunshine and rainbows for her... until she was overwhelmed by the sight of seeing her mother on life support.
ALEXANDRA CAROLINE GREY was the name of the woman Hope met at a bar one night... typical meeting place, right? With Hope's new parent-ly duties bestowed upon her, ontop of her surgical residency, she needs to blow off steam, so she finds herself at Joe's bar.
Upon meeting Lexie, they drink together, flirt and eventually have a one night stand, all the while they decide not to share any personal details about themselves. Just like that, they move on with their lives, not looking back to the night they shared. Except when Hope is one of many from Mercy Grace who get put with Seattle Grace after the merger, it's hard to move forward as she soon sees Lexie every single day.
Soon into her journey at the all new Seattle Grace Mercy West, she finds the bright, bubbly and loveable Grey to be quite unforgettable... and truthfully, Lexie can't get her mind off of Hope either.
