It feels so freeing being able to talk normally, ever since I got here I've been concealing my accent around people that isn't my brother.

Y/n didn't even seem to mind, and in fact it made her even more curious,

I can't believe I'm telling someone about my life, and it's someone whom I just met from a random night.

It felt like I'm escaping my thoughts and finally letting myself breathe.

"and after I saw your RV that night, the man wearing a suit came to me, played ddakji with him, got slapped, won, got money, and then he gave me that card." I told her, chills running down my spine as I remembered him disappearing so suddenly.

"oh shit, so all of that happened before you stood on the driveway?"

I nodded,

"I'm sorry you had to face all of those, I'll make sure you win those games if we ever get back there. You need the money more than me!" she continued with her hands in the air, making me smile.

She stopped, and looked at me and put her hands down.

I'm surprised she's still talking normally, I mean she drank a lot of that liquor.

"your smile is really pretty..." she suddenly told me, her eyes are droopy.

It made my brow raise.

"it reminds me of the girl I met..."

That made me chug down the entire bottle of alcohol that was left, I felt sweat dripping down on my body as I felt it going down my neck.

Y/n stopped talking as she was just looking at me,

I don't know why but I gave her a sly smirk, licking my lips as I finished drinking.

She blinked five times and continued,

"Uhm anyways, that girl I just met, she's very pretty.." My grip on the bottle tightened,

Is she talking about that girl from earlier? What's her player number again?

Yeah, I think she's talking about that girl.

My head feels like it's boiling, is it because of the alcohol?

"hmm"

"she has short hair, kind of like yours! She has bangs, it's really cute hehe. I was with her earlier too," she rambled,

Tss, why are you with me then? Then hang out with her for all I care.

"do you know those little things on cheeks? They're kinda like stars," her fingers gesturing the "little things" she's talking about.

stars?

"a lot of pretty little stars splattered all over her cheeks called "freckles", yeah, I like that a lot."

I have those too, Y/n.

A LOT OF THEM EVEN!

"her name's really pretty too, it really suits her.."

"what's her name then?" with one of my brows raised, I asked her.

"oh, it's Kang Sae Byeok."

Y/n fell asleep on my shoulders, I'm still stunned that she thinks I'm pretty.

I looked at the girl that's on my shoulder, I felt myself smirk, as I let out a little chuckle,

"Tss, out of all people? Seriously?"

Not like I didn't like Y/n, I mean she is nice.

Too nice, it's cute.

I looked away, "her? Seriously?"

It was unusual for me to take pictures, but I wanted to capture this moment.

It feels so peaceful, I wanted to stay here.

With her.

I stood up, carefully laying Y/n down on the chair, taking my jacket off and put it on top of her.

Walking to the railings, I took a picture of the city.

And while I was at it, I also took a picture of her.

What?

The girl's pretty.

I took another picture where the city behind her is seen,

As soon as I took the photos, I made it my home screen, the one with the city behind her, me and Cheol's picture being my lockscreen.

To remind me everyday I'm doing everything because of him, and for him only.

I looked at Y/n who's peacefully sleeping with my jacket on top of her.

"and maybe, it's not just Cheol I want to protect too now."

I FREAKING GOT THE CHAPTER BACK OMG OMG OMG!!! so if you're wondering, this chapter was already done like two hours ago or so ago but wattpad had other plans and cut this entire chapter down, and what's worse is that I didn't had a backup :')
