"Potter knows about you two?" Blaise asked, just as surprised as I was.
"It would appear so." I mumbled, eyes turning back to watch as Hermione yelled at a now red faced Weasel before grabbing the Italian's hand and pulling him towards the dance floor. Weasel stayed at the bar, now yelling at his sister while Harry turned and made his way towards us. Harry slid into the seat between me and Theo and I kept one eye on Hermione and the other on Theo as he blushed and smiled at Potter.
"Bloody hell, Theo. Potter? Really?" I asked. Theo just rolled his eyes and Harry scoffed.
"Hey, if you get to date one of my best friends then I get to date one of yours." Harry said to me with a smirk before turning to Blaise. "So what do you say Blaise? You interested?" He asked and Blaise choked on his drink and I couldn't help but laugh. Theo just rolled his eyes and smiled and Harry turned to look at me again, his brow raised.
"How long have you known?"
"I think you had been dating for about a month when I finally figured it out." Harry said with a shrug.
"And you don't mind?" I asked, worry creeping into my voice. I knew how important Harry's opinion was to Hermione.
"Please. It was just a matter of time. You two had been circling each other since 3rd year." He replied with a knowing look that had me blushing and Blaise and Theo laughing. "So what did you do?" He asked and I looked down at my drink.
"Why do you assume I did anything?"
"Give me a break. Hermione let Ginny dress her and is pretending to be interested in a bloke that barely speaks english. She's obviously pissed and trying to proving a point." Harry said, rolling his eyes and taking a sip of his drink.
"He told her he didn't think she was his girlfriend." Blaise chimed in and I sent him a sharp glare. Harry looked at me in shock.
"Why would you say that?" He asked, his voice curious. I sighed and looked down at my drink.
"I didn't mean it. It just kind of slipped out. And i'm not wrong, we have never talked about it. Wouldn't it have been just as bad to assume?" I asked, a bit to hopefully. All three of them just gave me a hard look.
"He also told her that they have never had the 'seeing other people' talk." Blaise added and Harry's eyes turned understanding.
"Well that explains why she is pressed up against some hot Italian." He added.
"You think he's hot?" Theo asked a little too quickly.
"Of course, don't you?" Harry replied with a smirk and Theo looked away mumbling under his breath. My lips twitched watching Harry tease Theo.
I looked into the crowd of dancers and saw Hermione with her back pressed up against the guys front, swaying to the beat.My jaw clenched as the guy brought his hand from her hip to her lower stomach, his fingers dipping into her skirt but I relaxed when Hermione quickly grabbed his hand and placed it back on her hip where it was before. He leaned down and said something in her ear and I could see her roll her eyes and it almost made me smile, knowing that this was probably just as torturous to her as it was to me.
"So you really aren't upset, Potter?" Blaise asked, his voice still surprised. "I mean, you and Draco are basically mortal enemies and your best friend has been dating him for months and lying to you about it. How are you not pissed?"
I looked at Harry too as he seemed to be collecting his words, equally invested in this answer.
"Malfoy was never my enemy, I mean not really. Sure we were awful to each other at school but we were just kids. Honestly, I think I hated you then because it was easier. You were a real person in front of me to focus on when Voldemort was just shadows, you know?" Harry asked, his eyes turning to me and I could see the understanding in them.
