'Thanks... I appreciate it'

'What did you mean by there wont be no more uploads?'

'nothing '

'Ming'

'I will tell you if you have dinner with me'

'I am busy'

'tomorrow?'

Phana sighed, what is he even trying to do. Kit and Beam silently watched Phana's expression as he continued texting. A small smile on his face betrayed him as he tried to look annoyed.

'can't you treat me for one meal.... As a thanks for solving your problem?'

'Fine... just one dinner; pick a place and let's meet at 7'

'what do you like to eat?'

'I am treating you... pick anything you like'

'but... what if I choose something and you don't like it... give me some options based on what you like to eat and I will pick one from that'

Phana sighed, but he still messaged

'Italian, Korean or local'

'Interesting choices Phi – what dish do you like the most; if I chose local'

'I can eat anything – pick one'

'let's go to some place local – I can't eat mushroom's as I am allergic but anything else is good'

'Okay – I will pick a place and will message you the details'

'Done Phi'

Phana finally looked up only to find Beam and Kit looking at him with curious expression. "What... he took down the videos and I am just saying thanks to him and treating him to dinner"

Kit wanted to say something but Beam quickly pinched his back shutting him up, "that's a nice gesture" Beam said neutrally and Phana nodded, "I mean, I have to work with him over the year like how I did last year with P'Kong" he sighed, "better be on casual terms right?"

"Did something happen that made you uncomfortable?" Beam asked and Phana shrugged, "you know"

But Beam shook his head, "I don't know"

"I think he is referring to the video – your dad again?" Kit sighed, "na ... mom took the heat as usual" Phana replied, it felt awkward to tell to his friends what the junior had proposed. What made it worse was that his heart had pounded just from a simple kiss to a cheek... he had gotten hard just from the way their bodies were close together.

"You are blushing" Kit said seriously, "what are you thinking?"

"I am not... it is just hot here, turn on the AC" Phana snapped annoyed at himself. "now, let's get back to the assignment. We have three more for this week" and that had effectively ended the discussion, but it didn't make Beam and Kit smirk at each other.

Phana rushed towards the restaurant he had selected it was 6 50 and he didn't want to be late. By the time he reached the entrance he also saw Ming walk in, waving his hands with a wide smile. "You are early too" he said as he extended a small bag "for you Phi – first date should not be empty handed"

"What?" Phana gasped

"Yeah – you are paying for dinner, I didn't want to look bad. I was not sure how much would you appreciate flowers" Ming smiled, "just take it Phi – it is not anything big. I was programmed that way – never go empty handed when you visit someone's home or for a date"
