Flowering weeds
People cringe as they pass
No one has cared to its needs

You would feel ashamed
In the very center
No more than an inch
You see a small flicker
In your heart there's a pinch
Life
Its petals glisten
Atop a lively green stem
It is the heart of this untended garden
