But Sukuna had already flicked his finger up.
"AKIRA-!" Mei yelled only to stop upon the sight..
The sight of you and Akira still alive?
Akira, who had flinched horribly upon waiting for her death, opened her eyes in pure confusion. She looked down only to see the brown belt that was around her waist was cut in half. It was a holder for her daggers and knives. Even though her weapons are more blunt objects, she thought knives would do better in this battle. You were still shielding her with your body before sighing out in relief of her being okay. You smiled in victory before getting off and seeing the pissed off glare Sukuna had.
Awh sugar honey ice tea. You didn't think this through.
"You see, I can explain-" you'd start only to have him walk over to you and grip the top of your thin dress tightly. "I'll deal with you later." He moved you to the side, and you stumbled back but Mei helped you gain your balance. After dusting the dirt off his face and hair, Sukuna crossed his arms, "don't use those weapons again. It's clear you're not used to them and they're weak. I'll summon a blacksmith later for better material." He would turn away and Akira only stared in disbelief before pushing her body up, "You wont kill me?! Why not?! Is it because (Y/N) stopped your first attempt?" She yelled and clenched her fist. "Just end my life..there's no point in dragging this out. I'll make sure they won't stop you again..." She began to tear up and Sukuna sighed before facing her. "So annoying," he'd say despite his amused smile, "I had no intention of killing you. The little act that women did was useless."
Akira weakly gazed at the ground, "Why?! Aren't you evil?! Besides I have no reason to live. I defied you...there's nothing left for me. He's dead..my moms dead..i see people die everyday.." She mumbled and Sukuna scoffed. "vengeance or determination can help drive humans. Bad emotions help create curses. Use this memory to find a reason to live. Maybe your reason for living is to get stronger until the day you kill me?"
"Not like happen anyways. You have quite the ways to go. But you're not bad for a brat." He'd add before walking towards you.
Akira only stared. It was odd. Life seemed to be back in those pretty eyes as she gave a weird smile. "Why...do I feel..this way? I just want to hate you." She'd mumble before her eyes seemed to roll back and her body fell forwards. Mei was already by the little girls side, tending to her and pulling her into a hug. "Ah- Akira!" You called out as well, but your view was blocked by Sukuna as he now stood in front of you. "I'm assuming you came here after hearing about the fight?" He'd question and you only nodded. It was no use in lying or averting the question. Besides, you wanted to act like the dirt situation never happened... "Mei told me about it..and I rushed here thinking you'd kill the young girl. Thank you..for not killing her, that is." You say but smile at the realization of what happened.
Sukuna gave Akira a reason to live.
He seemed to really kill two birds with one stone. Not only did he set an example of not to defy him while also seeing how far Akira was battle wise—but he allowed her to gain determination once more. The fact that she's alive truly shows what type of person Sukuna is. Yeah..he's still a crazy bastard who enjoys the suffering of others but at least he just doesn't kill left from right? Wait? Where is this justification even going...?
"You didn't harm her too badly...right?" You questioned with a now worried look and Sukuna waved off your worries. "The worse she'll have is a few broken ribs.. maybe a broken arm? Nothing too major that it'll harm her forever." You gave him a deadpanned look. It may not be much for him, but for a young petite twelve year old girl, it might...
"She has potential," Sukuna would turn around and gaze at the girl who was being carried off for medical help by Mei. "So I didn't do any detrimental harm. Hell, I even recently found out Megumi used to show her some tricks of his. It's clear she was tempted to use one until she saw you both nearby." Sukuna then shrugged and began to walk off, "oh well. I'm sure it would've been weak anyways."
Sukuna stopped upon seeing you weren't following him. He turned around slightly, quirking a brow before smiling and leaning down a bit, "what? Did seeing such a fight leave you awe struck?"
Instead of picking a fight or answering like you usually would, you simply gave him a warm smile. The nice hue from the setting sun complimented Sukuna's features. He was shirtless so you could see his defined body and where each tattoo laid. You couldn't help but let your eyes wonder to his v-line, your face heating up before gazing back at his handsome face. Sukuna watched your stare and his smile faded as he gave a serious look. "What are you thinking?" He'd say in a lower tone than usual. Shaking your head, you walked forward until you were in front of him. "Nothing." With a short answer you brushed aside his question. He smiled and breathed out, "jeez." He placed his large hand on your head; causing you to shrink back a bit and close one eye. "Such a complicated woman." He'd finish before removing his hand and walking forward. Your heart was beating quickly and your face seemed to be on fire. This was bad. You were down bad.
Your affection for this brute man seemed to grow more everyday.
'Who knew being selected from a sad village and forced to be an offering would lead me to becoming this man's chef and have feelings for him?'
It was so complicated.
As you quickly followed after him, there was just one thought that bothered you.
This single thought that haunted your mind.
And you'd get your answers tomorrow.
"I hope you didn't think I'd let you get off the hook with that little stunt of yours." He'd start and your heart suddenly stopped fluttering and began beating in fear. "Wow- look at the time!" You started and went to run away but he already grabbed your arm and hoisted you over his shoulder. "HEY WAIT-!! HEAR ME OUT-!"
And that's how you spent two hours tied to a tree, your arms free enough to hold a liquor container. You served Sukuna wine as he laid down comfortably. Every time his cup ran empty, he'd raise his container to expect more.
Maybe next time you should stay quiet and watch the scene unfold..

"We're friends! Aren't we, my dear troubled loner?"
"Don't call me that!" You'd eye him as you finished making the flower crown and placing it on his head.
"Only a loner would interact with a weirdo like me! Especially at night!" He'd comment with a cheerful smile and you rolled your eyes. "And only a weirdo would allow some random girl to talk to him."
Suddenly, the male moved in closer. A bit closer than what you were comfortable with, but you didn't say anything about it. "How could I ignore such a face that seemed so angry?" With a slight blush on your cheeks, you moved back and shrugged. "Whatever went through your mind, I'm glad we talked! Now we're good friends, right?" You say and the male nodded with a soft smile.
"But (y/n)-Chan, you'll come with me when the time is right, correct?" He'd lean in closer and you hesitated slightly. The male saw your hesitation before smiling warmly and placing his hands up, "you already made the deal! You can't back out now! ฿Ɇ₴₮ ₣ⱤłɆ₦Đ₴ ₴₮ł₵₭ ₮Ø₲Ɇ₮ⱧɆⱤ!"
