💥Chapter 18💥

Start from the beginning

I thought about this. Would I choose my happiness or his?

"I would help him be with that person. I want him to be happy, even if I'm not."

"You love him! We have to make a plan for you to confess to him!"

"Mina, I'm happy with how things are now. I don't want to mess up our friendship."

"I guess that we can wait for now, but if that changes you need to tell me so that I can help!"

"Got it. Could you teach me that dance that you were showing Kirishima today?"

"I got you. Get up."

We both stood up and she slowly explained the steps. I tried my best, but I was stiffer than a board and looked very awkward. Mina explained how to loosen up and be more fluid with my movements. After a lot of practice, I finally figured it out.

Mina and I tried the dance to music and just as we were about to perform it again, there was a knock at the door.

"I'll be right back Mina."

I answered the door. Standing there with my phone in his hand, was Katsuki.

"Katsuki! Oh my gosh! I didn't even realize that I was missing my phone!"

"The hag said that I had to bring it back over."

"Thank you so much! Come on, Mina was just teaching me a dance. I'm sure that she'd teach you too."

"No."

"Too bad. We're doing this."

I grabbed his hand and pulled him upstairs. His cheeks were flaming from me grabbing his hand, but I didn't notice.

"Mina! Guess who showed up!"

"Is it loverboy?"

My whole face turned bright red and my eyes were wide. KAtsuki was looking at me questioningly and I hid my face in my hands.

"It's just Katsuki!"

"That's who I meant and you know it, Y/N."

When we got to my room, MIna was in the fort, laughing about the redness of my face. I can't blame her though, it was extremely red.

"Would you teach Katsuki the dance so that he can do it with us?"

"Nope. I'm comfy on all of these pillows! You can teach him."

"I don't want to learn the stupid dance anyway. Don't worry about it."

"Are you sure, Katsuki?"

"Of course I'm sure!"

"Do we want to watch a movie then?"

"Sure!"

"Whatever."

I turned on a comedy movie. Mina made sure to stretch out and take up the whole fort, so Katsuki and I had to sit on my bed. We both grabbed a blanket and sat on the bed.  I grabbed an extra pillow and threw it at Mina. She just laughed and traced a heart with her fingers. I buried my face in my blanket to hide my embarrassment as the movie started.

Katsuki must have been tired because about ten minutes into the movie, his head fell into my lap. I let out a gasp and Mina turned to look at me. She giggled at how flustered I was.

Katsuki was asleep. On my lap. Stay calm Y/N.

I gently placed my hands on his hair. It was surprisingly soft. I started running my hands through his hair. Katsuki still hadn't woken up yet, so I started to make small french braids in his hair. It pulled the hair out of his face and I could fully see how peaceful he looks when he's sleeping.

When Katsuki sleeps, he doesn't look like a gremlin like he usually does. I was admiring his sleeping features when I heard a camera flash. Mina had a sly grin because she knew that I couldn't move. She took a few more pictures before sitting back down in the fort.

"Don't worry, I'll send them to you. I'm gonna go."

"Mina! Don't go! I'll kick him out if that's what's bugging you."

"I'm not upset. We can do this another time. I got all the information that I needed, so I'm going to let you enjoy this. You're gonna tell me every detail about this next time. Got it?"

"Yeah. Thanks, Mina! Have a good night!"

Mina quietly gathered her stuff and left. I felt bad about her leaving, but she would come over again soon and then I'd have something to talk about.

I looked down at the sleeping boy on my lap and rested my head on the wall. It wasn't the most comfortable position, but eventually, sleep consumed me.

Bakugou Pov:

When I woke up, My pillow felt different than usual. I shifted my head to a more comfortable position, but I realized that this wasn't my pillow!

I looked up and saw Y/N sleeping peacefully above me. My head was in her lap! She didn't move me off of her!

I was in shock that she wouldn't just shove me off of her when I saw her twitching in her sleep. She started to toss and turn more violently. I sat up and pulled her into my arms like she always does to me.

"You're safe Y/N. Your hero is here."

Y/N calmed down. Of course she did! I'm the best at everything! Of course I was able to comfort her!

I looked at the clock and saw that it was already the morning. I got off of her bed and moved Y/N into a more comfortable position. Racoon eyes was gone, so I put Y/N in her pillow fort. I quietly left the room to go make breakfast as thanks for letting me stay. I got my phone out and saw a lot of missed calls from the old hag. I called her back and she picked up almost immediately.

"If you have my son, you're wrong! He has you!"

"It's me you hag!"

"Bakugou Katsuki! Where have you been and why haven't you been answering my calls?!"

"I was at Y/N's and I fell asleep. I'll be home soon."

"So, how'd you sleep?"

The hag was just teasing me at this point, so I hung up. I went to the kitchen and made pancakes. When they were done, I saw a sleepy Y/N coming down the stairs. It seems like the smell of food will wake her right up. That's good to know.

Y/N Pov:

When I woke up, Katsuki was gone and I smelled pancakes. I got out of the pillow fort. Wait. I didn't fall asleep here. I was on the bed!

I stumbled downstairs, my blanket still wrapped around my shoulders, and saw Katsuki in the kitchen. He handed me a plate of pancakes before grabbing some for himself.

I tried the pancakes and they were heavenly!

"These are so good! Thank you Katsuki!"

"It's nothing."

We ate our pancakes in mostly silence.

"Did you sleep good Katsuki?"

"I slept fine."

Katsuki was trying to act like he didn't care, but he slept well.

"I need to go home. I fell asleep before I told the hag that I was staying and she got worried."

"You should go then! I'll do the dishes. I'll see you at school! Bye Katsuki, oh and don't call Mitsuki a hag! She's wonderful!"

Katsuki was done with his pancakes, so I pushed him out of the door.

"Thanks Katsuki! Go see Mitsuki!"

"See you later."

Katsuki mumbled that under his breath, but I heard him. I waved goodbye as he stomped down the sidewalk back to his house.

It's a good thing that Grandma had to stay overnight for work last night, or I would've had a lot of questions to answer.
