Hostilities Part 2

Start from the beginning

"You shall not harm my brother, you maniac!" she suddenly yells at you. There was a new determination burning in her eyes, only causing you to become more excited.

You race at her, and she simply waves her arm upwards with the fan still in hand, resulting in yet another wall of ice yet with spikes heading towards you too. Before you know it, the ice reaches up to you much more quickly than before, not giving you enough time to use the fiery ability. Instead, you would race through the ice, using the speed that the gravity ability grants you. As soon as you feel it activate, you charge through the ice at full speed, shattering it to pieces to the woman's disbelief and her fear setting in once more. "Would you look at that, the ice wasn't as strong as I hoped it would be," you tell her, swinging your arm to only punch her in the face causing her to slam her head onto the floor and a cracking sound chimes out loud. "What a shame, you didn't last all that long," you complain, sighing in disappointment, looking over to the ability you had sent off to fight the man.

To your disappointment, the battle was already over with the man lying lifeless on the floor. The ability walking towards you. "I have done as you have asked, Master," it tells you, bowing down a little and looking straight back at you. You had hoped that the man had still survived as you would have loved yet another fight, somewhat now regretting sending it to fight the man with the bear mask.

"Yes, yes, you may return now," you tell her, as it simply walks off towards the exit, with the crowd watching in disbelief, worry and fear soon set in them all. "Now, ladies and gentlemen, if you wish to survive, I suggest you give me this big bad wolf!" you yell out, looking around for the man until you hear him shouting.

You turn your head only to see the small executive you had almost forgotten about, was now dragging the man towards you. "What the hell was that!?" he shouts at you, throwing the man at you, only for you to dodge. "He almost got away, damnit!" he adds, storming up to you, scowling in annoyance. "You got a lot of explaining to do!" he tells you, standing inches away from your face. "Burn this place down while your at it," he orders you, turning on his heels to leave.

"An order I'll gladly follow," you mutter under your breath, grinning. You turn around to see the target on hands and knees in front of you as if begging for the pitiful life he's about to lose, yet too afraid to get the words out.

After some time, you exited the building satisfied, getting revenge on the man and burning the whole place down with everyone inside. It made you glad there were less disgusting people in the world now. "What took you so long?" you hear a voice ask, clearly impatiently.

"He had to suffer for what he did," you simply say, getting into the car, with him doing so too. "I suppose the fun had to end eventually," you start to say but then pause for a moment. "Though...thanks for waiting for me..." you mutter, your words of gratitude resulting in the male becoming shocked.

"Whatever," he simply replies, starting to drive the now alive car, not looking at you once.

Later...

Once you had returned to the Port Mafia, you both had been ordered to see Mori so you could report back about the successful mission. You sat at the end of the long table, your partner sitting much closer to Mori: the both of you in silence. Mori was in the middle of his attempt to quell one of Elise's many tantrums. "Now, now, Elise, you can borrow her later, okay?" he asks her, with a pleading expression all over his face.

"Hmph, fine!" she yells, storming off into yet another room.

"Now, about that mission, Chuuya, I believe you had said it was a success?" he asks, as he leans his chin on both of his hands like he usually would do.

"Yes, y/n had found the target, and after some fighting, she eliminated them all as you ordered," he responds.

"My, you did this all by yourself y/n?" he asks, looking at you with a surprised look: as you simply nod in response. "I must say I am surprised, though I am glad nothing bad had happened," he tells you, smiling a little. "Y/n you may go now, Chuuya: I have something to discuss with you still," he mentions, as you stand up, bowing towards him slightly and going to leave. "Ah, and y/n, make to only destroy places when ordered to," he tells you, as you stop in your tracks for a moment only to continue on. You knew what he was talking about.

The abandoned shipyard you had torn down.

What you didn't know was how Mori knew of this, and if he knew what had happened after, a chill ran down your spine as you left the room. An all too familiar feeling came back to you, just like the ones you had felt the first time you had laid eyes on Mori. You had never liked doctors, but there was something about Mori that was different. The feeling was different: it wasn't fear, yet you couldn't describe what it was. Him possibly always knowing what you do outside the Port Mafia: put you on edge.

Deeper into the night...

You had been in your office finishing the reports you had to do about the mission. As soon as you finished, you stand up, stretching a little, letting a small yawn out: you make your way back to your room, unaware of what was waiting for you within.

Opening the door, you entered your room to notice the small executive sitting on the couch you had in your room. He was looking at the bottle of alcohol in his hand until he saw you, "What took you so long?" he asks, already a little flustered from the alcohol.

"You was waiting for me?" you ask him, surprised standing in front of him on the other side of the small brown table that had a now half-emptied wine bottle.

"Drink with me," he simply says, ignoring your question, the executive already tipsy from what little wine he's had. You were too tired to protest, and you could do with a drink. Sitting beside him he poured you a glass of whatever bottle he had in his hands.

He handed you the glass: and without hesitation, you had started to drink, the oh so familiar sweet champagne hitting your taste buds instantly. "It's the champagne from the mission..." you muttered, looking at the half-empty glass. You turn your head to the man beside you to ask him something, yet you only find him unconscious there, looking so peaceful. "You're such a confusing man Chuuya..." you whispered, smiling softly at the champagne he had brought you. "Why is it that I can't stay mad at you...?" you ask, finishing the drink you had in your hands.
