That Chelsea Boy - Mason Mount

"Oh hey you two, Tammy's invited us to a party at his tonight" my best friend Madison shouted to me and our other best friend Emily as we walked into our house through the front door. We entered the living room and saw her applying her makeup in our large floor-length mirror. She's been talking to the football player recently and everyone knew they would be together properly soon. The Chelsea players all wanted to celebrate their lunchtime match win and it didn't matter if they ended up with hangovers as none of them had to go to training in the morning.

"Ooh how exciting. I guess that means we get to finally meet him then" I replied as Emily came and sat down on the sofa next to me. Madison had met the tall footballer on a night out when her sister had come to visit her and since then they've been on a few dates. Me and Emily had been wondering when we'd get the chance to meet him in person. "You better not embarrass me in front of him" Madison stated as she pointed at the two of us. "Of course we won't" Emily told her as she stood up and pulled me to my feet before dragging me upstairs to my room.

"Are you going to dress up for this then Em?" I asked her when we got upstairs. "I don't know I don't want to look like I've tried too hard" she replied as we both walked into our separate rooms. "I don't want to look rough in front of all those footballers though" I laughed as I looked through my wardrobe and I heard her laugh coming from the other room. "Wear that new outfit you bought. You've been begging for a reason to" she replied. "Ooh that's a good idea" I told her reaching the items out of my wardrobe and getting changed before going to apply my makeup.

"How do you always look so good with so little effort?" Madison asked me as she fake cried. "Oh shush you look gorgeous too Tammy won't know what's hit him" I replied. "What about me?" Emily asked laughing. "You know you look good" Madison told her making her reply "I know" while flicking her hair over her shoulders making us all laugh. We then headed out to our Uber Madison had called and started our journey to his house. On the way me and Emily teased our best friend saying she'd bagged herself a footballer and that she was going to become a WAG.

When we arrived at Tammy's and stepped out the car we could already hear music from the end of the driveway. Once we reached the front door Madison rang the doorbell and it opened to show the tall footballer. His face showed a beaming smile and he pulled her into a tight hug. "Hey Mads" "Hey Tam" they said to each other as me and Emily stood awkwardly until he released her and turned to face us. He pulled us both into hugs before saying "aren't you ladies all looking lovely tonight, it's nice to finally meet you. Come in everyone's in the kitchen".

The three of us followed behind him as he made his way through the house and down the long fancy hallway until we reached the kitchen. As we entered the room I saw a large group of lads and girls all standing around chatting to each other with drinks in their hands as the music played loudly. They all smiled in our direction before Tammy told us to grab ourselves something to drink. I didn't feel like drinking a lot tonight so I just picked up a bottle of beer from the kitchen island while Madison and Emily started pouring themselves vodka and cokes.

Me and Emily had been sticking together after Madison had disappeared with Tammy but she'd eventually started chatting to a guy who'd introduced himself as Kai so I'd lost her too when she headed off with him. I picked up what was either my third or fourth beer of the evening before walking over to one of the chairs that were tucked in the corner of the room. I sat down and looked through my phone as I didn't know anyone else here to talk to. I was editing the photo I'd taken earlier while I was getting ready as a girl came and sat down next to me.

"Hey you alright" I said to her as I put my phone away and sent her a smile. "The girls I know here are all with their boyfriends and I don't feel like third wheeling" she replied laughing slightly. "I didn't plan on that happening either" I replied. "I'm Georgie" she smiled. "Amelia. Is that the whole Chelsea team?" I asked. "Most of it, there's a few from other teams and Mason and Ben aren't here. They've gone out for dinner with my boyfriend Declan but he plays for West Ham anyway" she explained to me as she looked around the room. "How long have you two been together if that's not too nosy?"
