Aurora

If the future changed because of my sudden time travel, ibig sabihin ba wala nang mamatay?

I reached inside my pocket to grab my phone when it's not there. Sh*t! I left it with the boys

Without hesitation I ran to the door only to see a confused man standing in front of it. His fist was in the air. Kakatok pa pala sana sya pero nabuksan ko na ang pinto

"Brylle? Anong-" Hindi ko na matapos ang sasabihin nang makita ang phone ko sa kabilang kamay nya

I looked up at him and he smiled "Naiwan mo to kanina. Ba't ka ba kasi nagmamadali?" he smirked

He then handed me the phone

I saw how he licked his lip and looked at me, putting his hands into his pockets

"Call me. Marami pa tayong pag-uusapan about sa 'tulong' na hinihingi mo" inimphasize nya pa talaga ang salitang tulong

Magsasalita pa sana ako but he turned around and left. I traced his steps at biglang narealize na wala palang password ang phone ko

Hurriedly I turned it on and slid the phone open. Only to see the contact screen

'Ako to =)'

The name of a saved contact. There was a contact photo too, of him in selfie mode. I smiled a little. Tarantado

I looked where he went but he wasn't there kaya sinarado ko na ang pintuan

I feel like trusting him after he returned the phone without anything missing. Akala ko talaga mawawala na to eh

I hugged the device. I can't lose this. This is the only thing I have

Napatingin ako sa Watch ko nang bigla itong nagvibrate. I rolled my eyes and grunted. Here we go again

I only have 45 minutes

I walked out of my apartment and walked a little faster. I was facing downwards when I bumped into someone

"Uy san ka pupunta?" It's Brylle again. Ba't ba lagi akong nababangga sa kanya?

"gusto mo nang proof tungkol sa sinabi ko diba?" I grabbed his wrist

"ha?" he looked confused

"yung sinabi kong alam ko ang susunod na mangyayari" I looked at him as his face turned serious "Dali na, we only have 32 Minutes" I dragged him out of that place to the highway

Napatingin ako sa matandang babaeng nasa kabilang banda nang tawiran

"See that old lady? She's gonna die in 27 minutes. You have to save her" napatingin ako kay Brylle

"Ano? Pano mo naman nasabi? Masasagasaan ba sya?" he even have the audacity to laugh

Kakasabi ko lang eh. Lutang ba sya?

"Fine, kung ayaw mong maniwala... Tatawid sya, tapos may isang nagmamadaling SUV ang sasagasa sa matanda. See it for yourself" I said smugly as I walked and sat on the bench behind him, and crossed my arms

Suddenly the boy was terrified

"totoo ba talaga yan?"

"I saw it Brylle, I saw how you died, how almost every people could die in this very moment"

"Namatay ako?" namilog ang mata nya

"Oo, kung hindi ako dumating nung gabing yun, siguro deds ka na"

"So yang matanda-"

"In 19 Minutes, yes" sagot ko sa hindi nya natapos na tanong "tumatakbo ang oras Brylle, you might want decide quickly"

Napalunok sya at napatingin sa matanda. Siguro nalilito sya sa susunod nyang gagawin

Napatingin kaming dalawa nang may biglang bumusina sa malayo. It was the black SUV

"hindi ka pa gagalaw?" I smirked as he looked at me before running towards the old woman na akmang tatawid na

10 Minutes

I was amazed by how considerate he was. Tinawid nya talaga yung first lane kung saan umaandar pa ang mga sasakyan. Napatigil tuloy sila at nagalit pa nga ang ibang driver dahil sa kanya

6 Minutes

Brylle grabbed the old woman and put her back to the sidewalk

3 Minutes

He saved the lady too early. After awhile the SUV past by speeding with police cars behind chasing it

I can't help but clap sarcastically as our eyes met. Nasa kabilang lane sya kaya tinulungan nya nalang makatawid yung matanda

"naniniwala ka na?" I said as I approached him

He was sweating as he watched the old woman walk away

Sabay kaming umuo ulit sa bench

"Pano mo-"

"Don't talk to me when you're still shaking" I held an index finger in front of him

Napalunok sya at kumalma nang konti

"Pa-"

"My mom gave me this watch" pinakita ko sa kanya ang suot kong relo. Naghesitate pa sya bago nya nilapit ang kamay ko sa harapan nya para tingnan nang maayos ang relo

"Hindi ko matanggal tanggal ang relong yan simula nang isuot sa akin ni Mama"

I put down the watch. And looked down sadly. I never thought a birthday gift from her is a curse. I never thought she'd punish me like this

"B-Bakit ka naman bibigyan nang mama mo nang ganitong klaseng regalo?" he was a bit calm now

"I don't know. She told me to take care of it. And to use it for good. But, I realized it just now na dapat pala akong tumulong" I said sadly "I looked at how people died since I was 7 years old. I never did anything. Until my mom tried to save someone. But when she did, she failed to save herself"

Napalunok si Brylle. I felt his awkward hand touch my back as he began to caress it gently

"I-I'm sorry"

I just nodded. He was the first person I told about my little secret
