The leaves on the trees were shifting in color and the weather turned colder so Taehyung clutched onto an embellished red coat around himself while he sat in the middle of the forest. His dragons had each grown big enough to tower over him, and they each trained at their king's commands.

"Mera!" Taehyung called out, eyebrows furrowed as he shook his head in disappointment, and the white ice dragon looked at him with a lowered head from shame. "Quit fighting with each other! I need you all to focus." He scolded before he looked back at Mera, "Freeze." He commanded, eyes widened as she breathed in slowly, white vapor forming around her nose as she inhaled. A white ball formed around her mouth and as she breathed out, it spread across the trees, freezing them instantly and Taehyung smiled softly. Mera was the dragon that struggled the most with using her abilities and he jumped to his feet and clapped excitedly.

"Finally!" He grinned and he noticed the rest of the dragons eagerly whining and so he glanced at each of them as he reached down for his staff. "Ready?" He had trained with them prior, and it was difficult to keep up with them initially, but Taehyung had gotten quicker. He would never hurt any of them, and they would never hurt him either, but there were moments when training caused him some sort of injury.

It was never anything too serious, so he was able to hide it well.

When he trained with his dragons, he couldn't help but find it endearing how the tables had seemed to turn. He spent the last two months training them diligently and now it was his turn. His dragons were helping him become stronger, and Taehyung couldn't help but laugh as he blocked his dragon's tails with his wooden staff.

He rushed past the clearing, pushing himself up a clump of boulders while fighting with Eron's tail but he continued to whip it around him, and the king ended up losing his balance and slipping off the highest rock. He fell, but Bullet swung his tail under him to break his fall and Taehyung smiled at him, "Thanks, B." He winked as he pushed himself to his feet and instantly continued to practice with the six of them. "Come and catch me!" He giggled as he sprinted away, and the six dragons rushed behind him.

"Chin up, Eron!"

"Bullet stop trying to drag Nuri to the bottom of the river!" Taehyung scolded tiredly before he frowned, "You know that's her weakness!" He rolled his eyes when that seemed to amuse the water dragon. "Hey, Artemis!" He called out but smiled when the Earth dragon remained near the field of flowers. "You're doing amazing Artie, never change."

He exhaled tiredly as he reached for his wooden staff, "Let's start from the beginning. Nuri, you'll be the first one to train with me." He walked to the center of the forest and Nuri eagerly stood before him. Taehyung mentally prepared himself for the strenuous training, but once it commenced, he was too focused to realize how tired he was.

While he trained with Bullet, Taehyung frantically slipped off his coat when his arms started to literally burn. The wooden staff dropped to the ground as he lightly patted his arms, "What is this feeling—" he gasped shortly while his dragons whined in concern. He stared at his arms, but they appeared as they normally did despite the sensation of flickering flames caressing his skin. "It feels like my arms are on fire, but there's nothing here..." he shook his head and tiredly exhaled.

His dragons moved closer to him, and Mera nudged his chest with her head. She huffed while he rubbed the top of her head, "I'm fine. Maybe I'm just exhausted from training today, so let's call it for today." He smiled when his dragons seemed solemn, "No more sulking, big babies." He grinned as he hugged each of them.

As Taehyung walked across the kingdom, he smiled when a hybrid bowed in respect right before him, "Good afternoon, your highness." She smiled sweetly as she clutched onto a basket filled with flowers.
