Marinette wept until she had no tears left to cry. She felt as if all of the hope and happiness had been sucked out of the world. Her life had lost its meaning. Only once before had she felt this crushed. During which she swore it would never happen again, yet here she was, crying, hurting, and wishing she could just end the pain.

She felt broken and now had lost it all. Everything that once made her happy was gone. Marinette struggled to breathe, her heart ached, her chest felt tight, and she was sure her head was being squeezed and crushed as we speak.

She was sure this felt worse than death. At least after you die, you stop feeling pain, but this was a constant pain you can't get rid of.

She should have believed Chloe when she tried to warn her. How could she not see that for once she was trying to be helpful? She should've just kept walking away from him! She should have never spoken to him at all, not even sarcastically, she should have kept pushing him away as she had been for years, but she didn't.

How was she stupid enough to trust him after what he had done before? And why would they team up to do this to her? She had always tried to be the best person she could be, so why did he do this to her? Her heart ached. During these last 24 hours, she managed to lose her best friends and happiness.

All because of him!

Marinette couldn't believe what he had been capable of doing to her, and that was what got to her. She should have known, she should have seen this coming, but she didn't. Of course, he wouldn't change. Why the hell did she think he could? He was a heartless jerk. A player! She regretted ever trusting him again. She was angry for not walking away from him when she had the chance. Now here she was, wishing that she had never met him as pain invaded her heart and crushed her spirit.

Do you know that saying that you can't die from love? Well, that's a load of shit. Because right this second, Marinette felt as if she was being cut open by a million pieces of glass, all going right through her heart. Marinette felt an agonizing pain, but there was something else, something stronger.

She felt anger! What he had done was unforgivable, and Marinette would not let him get away from something like this. Usually, Marinette would turn the other cheek but not now, not anymore. That Marinette was gone, he made sure of that. The second that he decided to go through with the bet, everything changed.

Finding out about it destroyed her, but now she will make sure to demolish him!

You see, this pain and anger were caused by one person, in particular, one she should have never trusted in the first place, one that had caused her so much pain once before, and he had a name. A name she now despised more than ever.

Adrien Agreste.

Adrien Agreste, the man she loved. The same man who decided to rip her heart to shreds and break her until she was unfixable. He never cared what his actions could do to her. He never loved her! Why did she believe it to be different?

But he would pay! He would feel the same pain he made sure to inflict on her. As of now, Adrien Agreste was nothing to her!

All this pain and anger only made Marinette sob harder. The bluenette had always thought she knew what pain was, but she had been wrong.

Nothing compared to the pain she was feeling at this very moment. It physically hurt her to breathe. Marinette rubbed on her chest to attempt to relieve the ache. She couldn't believe this was really happening to her. Marinette closed her eyes and laid her body on the floor as she sobbed harder. She wanted the pain to end.

As her eyes closed, her phone began to vibrate once again. She thought it was either Nino or Alya who had been trying to contact her nonstop since the second she ran out of the school, but she was wrong. To her misfortune, it was once again the person who had hurt her the most. Adrien Agreste.

Feeling even more hurt and angry, Marinette screamed as she threw her phone towards the wall, making it shatter in the process. Parts flew around the room, and she was sure the wall had a hole, but at the moment, she didn't care. Marinette was hurting and angry. She hated the blonde with all her heart. How dare he call her again!

Upon hearing their daughter's painful scream, Sabine and Tom ran into the bluenette's bedroom. The sight before them broke their heart into a million pieces. It was a view no parent ever wanted to witness.

Marinette lay on her bedroom floor, sobbing loudly. Her eyes were red and swollen shut, he hair was tangled, and all messy, tear streaks stained her cheeks, and horrific cries emitted from he throat. The room was a mess, and her phone shattered on the ground. Sabine felt tears fill her eyes. Her daughter was obviously suffering, and she had no idea why.

Running to her side, Sabine picked up her daughter and hugged her tightly. "What's wrong, sweetheart? Please, talk to us, baby," Sabine cried.

"Maman, they killed me. I'm breathing, but I feel like I am dying. It hurts. It hurts so much! Get me out of that school, maman. Get me out of that place. I don't want to be there anymore," Marinette sobbed.

"Calm down, baby. We will do whatever you want, but you have to talk to us, honey," Tom spoke, sitting beside his little girl.

"It was a bet, papa. A stupid bet! My friends betrayed me. All of them. Alya and Nino, both. They played me. He used me, papa. Adrien used me for a bet," Marinette sobbed.

"I don't understand, baby. You have to tell me what really happened for you to say that. Talk to us, sweetheart."

Adrien searched all around the school but once again came up short. There had to be something he was missing. A place Adrien had forgotten to search, there just had to be. He called again and again, but the calls were going straight to voicemail. Desperate, he began to ask around for Marinette, but no one had seen her.

Adrien felt lost. He needed to find Marinette. She needed to know the truth. Feeling a presence behind him, he turned around quickly, believing it was Marinette. As he turned around, he came face to face with his rival.

Luka and Adrien glared at each other for a minute before Adrien decided to break the silence. "Where is my princess, Couffaine?!" Adrien basically hissed. Luka looked at him both in anger and confusion. "What do you mean? She left a while back saying she needed someone to talk to. I assumed it was Nino Laffahie," Lika responded, crossing his arms, a look of hate in his eyes.

What kind of boyfriend doesn't know where his girlfriend is? Probably the same type that lies to her.

Adrien froze in fear. Did he say, Nino? No! Not Nino! He had to find them. He had to explain. This was not good, and the last thing he needed was to waste time with Luka while his princess was out there with Nino.

"I- I have to go," Adrien called out before running away in search of his ex-best friend and his girlfriend. Thinking of where else they could be, he suddenly remembered a place he hadn't checked. One Adrien was sure Nino would be at. Of course, how could he forget? Nino would definitely be in the music room.

Adrien didn't wait another second before running towards the room. Nino would have to answer to him. Adrien would be heard, whether the DJ wanted to listen or not.

"Nino, what the hell did you do?!"
