Senketsu: I was beginning to wonder if they would ever get together.
They eventually break their kiss and stare into each others' eyes.
Tatsumi: Funny you say that. Because I feel the same but it seems your more than willing to give me a shot.
Ryuko's eyes light up and Tatsumi could've sworn the little red strand on her hair light up like a Christmas light.
Ryuko: Really?! Well then you wouldn't mind if I kissed you some more than right?
Tatsumi: Fine by me, I need more people like you to stroke my ego.
Ryuko: Fine, I'll stroke it as much as you want then!
Satsuki: AHEM! While I do appreciate that you're alive, and that you two have confessed for each other... But would you two mind taking this somewhere else?!
They both realize how long Ryuko's been basically sitting on Tatsumi.
Tatsumi/Ryuko: Sorry.
Satsuki: I can already tell that you two are going to be even more of a handful then before.
Ryuko got up and was practically wearing Tatsumi's arm.
Ryuko: This time I'll never let you go. You're stuck with me for the rest of your life
Tatsumi: I'm sure you won't.
Mako: Gasp! Is that a marriage proposal?!
Ryuko: Okay let's not push it Mako!
Tatsumi: I wouldn't mind that actually...
Ryuko: Wha-WHAT!? I think we're taking things too fast. Right Sis?
Satsuki: I'm looking forward to being an aunt... Little sister.
Ryuko: A-Aunt!? Then that would me we would-... Ahhhh too much is happening right now!
Tatsumi laughs.
Tatsumi: We're just messing with you.
Satsuki: I'm not... I want my niece AND nephew.
Tatsumi: Well I'M joking. All that stuff'll come when it comes. For now let's leave this stuff behind us and move forward.
Ryuko grabs his hand.
Ryuko: Only if we're doing it together.
Tatsumi: As if I'd say no.
They both walk out of the rubble of Honnouji Academy.

They walk out to see that there are escape boats for everyone, to leave the island on. Satsuki demands that Rei be allowed onto one of the boats to which nobody disagrees. Meanwhile, Mako's family arrives carrying the entire house on the back of the car.
Brazaro: Mako, Ryuko! Tatsumi?!?
Sukuyo: Tatsumi is that really you?!
Mataro: Big bro you're still alive!
Guts: *Happy guts noises*
The Mankanshoku's surprise was enough to alert the Elite Four of his return. Sanageyama was the first to run out over to him and gave him a bro hug.
