After our week of was over, me and Elia and the rest of the seniors at our school got extremely busy with paperwork and schoolwork. We were all busy with different things to do. I was running around from one side of the school to the other trying to help get things order.

While I was doing that, Michael kept on calling and texting when I needed to use my phone to receive calls and texts from people who were trying to help out with the arrangements for our graduation. I still ended up trying my best to ignore him for the last week of school.

After the week was over, me and Elia went home and started getting packed to go to LA on Monday. I didn't text Micheal until we got inside the guest house my uncle left for us.

"Why did your uncle give us an entire guest house to ourselves?" Elia asked slowly unpacking her suitcase into the bedroom across the hall from mine.

"It's an entire guest house to ourselves, Elia. Stop complaining before my uncle realizes the mistake he made." I replied.

After I finished unpacking, I connected my phone to my charger and texted Michael.

J: I'm in LA

M: What?? You ignore me for a week and a half and tell me that you're in the same city as me out of the blue? What is wrong with you?

J: Least I told you I'm here

M: Oh wow, you are so mean

J: Yeah, sure. So, do you know anywhere good to eat?

M: No. I'm not telling you. You are disrespectful.

J: Please.

M: No, you've been mean to me for the past week.

J: Oh c'mon. I'm hungry, and I bet you are too.

M: No, you have lost my friendship. I don't trust you with....my...trust anymore. Bye.

And he refused to text me back. So, I went with Elia to go job hunting.

We both agreed that we wanted part-time easy jobs that pay well, because we wanted to earn money, but relax and have fun over our summer, too.

My uncle suggested a nearby movie theatre so we went to go talk to the manager.

Turns out my uncle really was friends with a few people and the manager didn't make us fill out job applications. We just stood in the middle of the lobby answering questions he thought of at the top of his head.

"So, which one of you is good at memorization?" He asked standing in a manner that made him look like he was trying to be important.

"She is." I sighed pointing at Elia. She raised her hand sarcastically and turned her head towards me because she knew I was going to say that.

"Okay, then. You are gonna work behind the counter. Jackie, you can be a hostess." He said as he walked Elia to her new work position. I sighed, frustrated.

I knew what a movie theatre host or hostess was. It's the person that had to clean up the spilled popcorn on the floor after the movie ended and the one that had to kick people out if they were being to loud.

I got on my phone and walked to a wall to lean on, so I could avoid getting bumped into, when I got bumped into. I looked up to see it was Ashton Irwin.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." He apologized.

"Oh no, it's okay... really.." I  say quietly and unintentionally slowly walk backwards towards the wall, when he continues to speak.

"Hey.. you actually look kind of familiar.... do I know you from somewhere else?" He asked trying to study my face when Luke walks over and recognizes me.

"Hey, I know you. You're that girl Michael is always texting. I know you're name.... ughhh.... it's Jackie, right?" He says trying to be friendly.

I looked at him surprised that he knew me. I have only ever texted him through Michael's phone and I don't remember taking a picture with Michael when I met him in person.

"Oh yeah... I remember you. I saw a picture of you in Michael's phone." Ashton says as he smiles and reveals his dimples.

"Wait... how did he get a picture me on his phone?" I ask, but they ignore my question.

"You know Michael still doesn't have your real name as his contact, do you?" Luke asks curiously.

"What he doesn't? What does he have down as THIS time?" I ask annoyed.

"I don't think you want to know. I don't think me or Luke are willing to say it out loud, actually," Ashton says, nervously looking away as Luke does the same.

I was about to ask what that meant, when I saw my soon-to-be boss walk my way with an upset expression. I excuse myself from Ashton and Luke as I walk away from them towards my boss giving an accomplished vibe.

"Did you help them get where they need to go?" He asks.

"Yes, of course I did. Like I'm supposed to, right?" I say nervously.

He looks at me suspiciously and tells me where to get my new uniform. After my long day of being lazy, I told Elia what happened earlier and tagged along with me and the guys for lunch.

-- Okay, I tried my best. I wasn't thinking straight most of the time so I just hope you like this chapter that might have sucked.  --
