[THIRD PERSON POV]

"You always were the mistake, the bad child. The one they never wanted. You selfish сука! Why can't you do what is expected of you, you have no choice!"

"сестра please! Please, why can't you understand that I can't be what mother and father want me to be?! I can't be you.. I'm not you, I'll never be like you."

"Maybe you should be... You always were the useless дочь, always chasing your filthy dreams of a normal life, a normal family! Well you'll never have it.. A life.. A family. So forget it you свинья!"

Nothing. His face displayed no emotions, not a hint of sadness, not a spark of happiness. Just- Nothing. It looked as if he hadn't even heard the words that had exploded from her mouth mere seconds ago.

Davina swallowed heavily, coming to the conclusion that he had not heard her. Though she thought it to be impossible that he wouldn't hear such life changing use of wording.

She took in a deep breath and decided to repeat her announcement, just in case he really had mis-heard her.

"I'm-"

"I heard." He breathed, his words coming out an agonisingly slow pace, lacing no emotions she could easily detect.

It was at that moment that she saw what seemed to be fireworks exploding in his eyes. They seemed to be glossed over in happiness, but she could still see the fear lurking inside them. She focused her attention away from his emotionless face, allowing her eyes to set on his, taking in the mystified look dancing around them.

"I-I" Her voice trembled as she fought back the tears that had started to form in her eyes.

"Shhh, just breath doll.. Just breath." He whispered, snaking his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him, allowing the shaking girl to bury her head in the crook of his neck. He brought his flesh hand up to hold the back of her head, his metal arm wrapped firmly around her waist.

"I-I don't know what to do.." She whispered carefully into his neck. She felt his heart racing inside his chest at her words. Her arms hung loosely around his neck, an effort to keep him as close to her as possible.

"Neither do I.." He mumbled back, burying his own head into her chestnut-brown hair.

It wasn't long before Bucky felt her tears dampen the fabric of his shirt. He held her tighter, securing the back of her head in his hand as he slowly ran his fingers through her knotted hair. He swayed her body back and forth the smallest amount, remembering his mother once doing this to him, when he was sad or scared.

The shaken girl slowly moved her face away from the comfort of his shoulder to face him, her eyes red and puffy, a clear sign that her tears had overcome her willpower to remain strong.

"B-Bucky what if-"

"It won't." He whispered, moving his hands to cup both sides of her face. Her love used his thumbs to brush away the stray tears from her face, smiling gently once he'd done so.

"But-"

"It won't happen again doll. I won't ever let that happen to you again." He whispered, pulling her face gently towards hers and connecting their lips.
