After the revolutionary war, Tatsumi was able to survive the fight with the emperor. No longer willing to stay in the Empire after seeing so much death, so he leaves in search for a new start in his life, and this journey starts with a girl named Ry...
Ryuko: It's the opposite Ragyo! If anything, Tatsumi is the greatest example of what humanity can achieve! It was Tatsumi's humanity that keep him pushing to get to this point, his humanity that defeated the emperor and opened the doors for a new empire to form, and it's gonna be his humanity that helps me defeat you today!
Ragyo: It's his humanity that will lead to his downfall! Look.
Ragyo points to Tatsumi who was slowly getting overwhelmed by Tyrant's power, pushing him further and further down until he lands on the Life Fiber Cocoon to continue his fight, but Ryuko refuses to turn back fully confident in her partner.
Ryuko: I don't need to look at him. It doesn't matter how far Tatsumi gets pushed, he always pushes back twice as hard!
Ryuko continues to fight with her mother as Tatsumi blocked a punch from the beast.

Tatsumi: Dammit this is really starting to get annoying!
Incursio: I can feel that he's getting ready to evolve again and at that point, I doubt we'd be able to stop him.
Tatsumi: So, if we can't stop him then.
Tatsumi smirks as he came up with an idea and started flying upwards towards Ryuko and Ragyo getting Tyrant to chase him. Ryuko meanwhile was still trying to avoid Koketsu's strike when she sees Tatsumi underneath her. She smirks as she blocks one last strike and then disengages.
Ragyo: Get back here! You've gone too far with your rebellion and now I must deal out a proper discipline to my daughter!
She continues to attack Ryuko with her Kamui, but Ryuko keeps dodging every strike until she hits something. It wasn't Ryuko however, instead it was the Tyrant! Tatsumi had led it right into Koketsu's attacks and its Kamui was now pierced.
Ragyo: No. NOOOOOO!!!
Tatsumi: After fighting that Tyrant for so long I realized that it only attacked me, that's when I realized that you made that Kamui with the sole intention of taking me down. You took away the Incursio's free will and replaced them with your own interpretations of him and now look at where it's gotten you.
Ryuko: If this doesn't convince you that what you're saying is utter bullshit then I don't know what will. Face it Ragyo you've lost.
Ragyo: Life Fibers? Lose? No, that's impossible. I won't let that happen!
Ragyo uses the spears from her Kamui to pull Incursio into Koketsu and begins absorbing the Kamui with the Tyrant still in it.
Ryuko: What? That's insane.
Senketsu: She's completely lost it.
Incursio: She's getting way too desperate for my liking!
Tatsumi: I'll still manage to get you two together, I swear it!
