I knew from the start, you were the one. Walking through that cafe door, blonde hair loose around your waist and a smile that could heal anyone. You look just like a dream, the prettiest girl I've ever seen.
"I'll have a cappuccino please" your voice, a melody to my ears. I see you taking out a copy of Romeo and Juliet. So you like love stories? Well our story could beat any Shakespeare, if only I had the confidence to go up to you.
And that's when your eyes look into mine, wow, eyes dark and mysterious showing more than just a teenage girl. You smile, I smile back. And with that I gather up my confidence to go up to you. Breath in, breath out. I slip out of my booth and head towards you, just for something to block our paths again.
Your boyfriend.
How could a princess like you not find her prince already? Why am I so stupid? Theres no point of me trying, but just see you from a far...
(Okay so that was the first one, I feel like it turned into more of a poem rather than a short story but hope you like it :) )
