"The witch?" Sam asks.

Without missing a beat, Kurt reminds him she's not a witch. "But she has tightened her turban and given us the ultimate musical theatre challenge."

"Sondheim," the four NYADA students answered.

The group started brainstorming song ideas, however Becca already had hers so she wasn't paying much attention. She was singing 'Ladies Who Lunch' from Company which Sam has heard her practice when she was with Blaine already and thought she was amazing (even if she thought there was still things that she needed to work on). Feeling bored himself and just wanting to get her attention, he brushes his foot against hers . Before long, she joined in, figuring none of her friends were paying any attention to them.

One was.

"Hold the phone!" Artie exclaims, pushing back from the table. He looks under the table. "Are you two playing footsie?"

"What's a footsie?" Becca asks, cocking her head slightly to the side in confusion to play innocent.

"You're not fooling me Van der Berge."

Trying to defuse the situation, Sam reminds him that Becca has anxiety and sometimes her leg shakes. "That's her excuse, what's yours?" Artie asks.

He had none. "H-How could you even tell?" Sam exclaims, blushing. "I thought you had no feeling down there?"

"I can feel the tension and I'm trying to eat here!"

Taking a peek under the table, Blaine is confused. "Are you?"

"We're not," Becca turns beat red.

"Your face says otherwise," Kurt deadpans.

Mercedes deflects the situation. "Leave them be." She gets everyone to take a dish and changes the subject to one about the latest movie they all saw.

After her Mid-Winter Critique, Sam and Becca decided to take a walk along the East River. This was one of the first times since the holidays the couple has had time completely alone. Prior to it, Sam had some smaller modeling gigs and Becca had her college class. Then they had spent the holidays together in Lima. Sam's family drove up from Kentucky and stayed with the Van der Berge/ Knight residents for the holidays since (according to the parents) 'we're going to be in laws in a couple of years so better get used to it now'.

Up until this very moment point, Sam and Becca were never really left alone. Right now, it was nice. Sam was not shutting up about her performance. "I can't believe you stole Madame Tibideaux's drink and are still alive," he muses.

"I placed mine on her table and took mine," Becca corrects. "I don't have that big of a death wish. But I'm really loving college more than I thought I would."

Pulling out his phone, he showed the video with Carmen's reaction in it. "You're killing it. I'm so proud of you?"

"You filmed me? I don't get why you always film me."

"I mean how else will I show all my model friends my insanely talented girlfriend. Plus your parents asked me too since someone-" he bops her on the nose "- didn't tell them she was performing."

Her reasoning was that she got the Winter Critique confused with the Winter Showcase. She figured she wasn't going to get an invitation to the Showcase (which was correct) hence why she didn't tell her parents they needed to come up to see her performance. "But I still love that you have my parents on speed dial."
