Chapter 1

Kiara's POV

"Ugh, I hate mornings.....I hate being woken from my beauty slee-" 'KIARA YOU BETTER WAKE UP BEFORE YOUR MOM BEATS YOUR ASS!' 'She's not wrong Kiki, you really should get up'

Those are my lovely 2 residents. Ebony, and Adrien. Demon and Angel. Yeah ik, annoying. But I guess that's what you get for being assigned other personalities. And yeah they ARE right, I better get my ass out of bed before my mom has my head for breakfast.

I flip the covers off me and swing my feet to the floor with a stretch. Waking up is so much work. I hear my mom yell from downstairs and naturally, I roll my eyes. Really mom? I said I was coming the last 5 times you came in and woke me."ɪꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ɢᴇᴛ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴀꜱꜱ ᴅᴏᴡɴ ʜᴇʀᴇ ɴᴏᴡ, ʏᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ ɢᴏɴɴᴀ ʙᴇ ʟᴀᴛᴇ ꜰᴏʀ ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ!" Who even needs school?! Whatever... I saunter up to my closet and grab my uniform, a kilt and polo shirt. Surprisingly, I don't hate the uniform. Once I'm changed I head to my bathroom. I look in the mirror and decide on going subtle today, just mascara and blush. After running a brush through my hair, brushing my teeth and throwing spike earrings in, I skip down the stairs to the kitchen where an angry mom is waiting for me.

"ɪ ᴛᴏʟᴅ ʏᴏᴜ 15 ᴍɪɴᴜᴛᴇꜱ ᴀɢᴏ ᴛᴏ ɢᴇᴛ ʀᴇᴀᴅʏ ꜰᴏʀ ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ᴀɴᴅ ᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴅᴏᴡɴꜱᴛᴀɪʀꜱ! ʏᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ ᴀʟᴡᴀʏꜱ ʟᴀᴛᴇ ꜰᴏʀ ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ!" ' Ugh, she's so rude, we need our beauty sleep you know!' 'It's ok Ebony, you can nap whenever you want when we get to school. And Ki? You better get a move on, or you really WILL be late for school.'

Ebony is the fun one where Adrien is a goody two shoes. He always wants to follow rules and do good. I don't mind most of the time but other times, like right now, I wish he was a bit more like Ebony. "I know mom, I'm sorry, I lost track of time and fell back asleep." "ꜱᴡᴇᴇᴛʜᴇᴀʀᴛ, ʏᴏᴜ ꜱᴀʏ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴇᴠᴇʀʏ ᴍᴏʀɴɪɴɢ...""I'm sorry..." "ɪᴛ'ꜱ ᴏᴋ ꜱᴡᴇᴇᴛʜᴇᴀʀᴛ, ᴊᴜꜱᴛ ɢᴇᴛ ᴀ ᴍᴏᴠᴇ ᴏɴ, ʏᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ ɢᴏɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ʟᴀᴛᴇ" I hurriedly eat my breakfast, throw my jacket and shoes on, kiss my mom goodbye and head to school.
