Chapter 1

**Three Weeks Later**

I walked up and down the orphanage room, I had a single metal bed with white sheets, it was pulled up against the brick wall, one lousy wooden wardrobe and a table night stand; this was my room. That shouldn’t even be permitted as a room! Ugh! I leaned against the window as the gray clouds sprinkled rain against my window. I finally saw something dark gray heading towards me, I pushed open the window as the owl came fluttering in. The Daily Prophet in her beak, I pulled it out and put several coins in the pouch on the side of her and she flew off. I shut the window again and opened it up, the front page was as it has always been, covered in Sirius Black. I checked through the whole thing until I found a small article in the back reading:

“Mr. and Mrs. Monroe’s bodies have been found at a graveyard not too far from their houses, the investigation is still leading on, but we have figured that this is under the mind of Sirius Black…”

I crumpled it up annoyed, all they talk about is mindless Sirius Black, its bad enough he is her dad. I threw away my trash and walked up to my smashed mirror hammered to the wall, thunderstorm gray eyes and jet black hair, soft light skin, with red lips. I sighed again, changing into a tank top  and shorts, I climbed into the-not-so-cold-bed-anymore. Where I lived, it was winter, but ever since I moved to London, it’s been nothing but rain and sun, so it was summer here. I passed out as the sky darkened, I wasn’t aloud to use magic anymore, because I was going to Hogwarts this year, personal guest of Dumbledore. I sighed and passed out, a single tear sliding down my cheeks missing my parents.

I pulled my trunk along the pavement searching for the pillar; I finally found it and took out my piece of paper saying my instructions, run right at it. I shrugged, crumpled it and stuffed it into my pocket, I started running at the pillar, closing my eyes. When I opened them, I was standing in front of a train; I was too surprised to notice someone coming behind me, and forgot to move. I was crashed into by someone else, I flew forward, my head hitting the cement, my trunk and cart flipped over, as someone else’s had done the same. I looked up to see a boy with bleach blonde hair, he was looking at me, snickered, and stood up, dusted his pants and picked up his things. As I went to sit back up he pushed me again making my head hit harder, and I felt something warm coming from the back of my head as he just left me there. Dots started blurring my vision when I saw three people standing above me. A boy with black hair reached out his hand, I took it, and stood up.

“You alright?” he asked.

I did a faint smile and reached my hand behind my head bringing it back seeing blood.

“I don’t think so,” I muttered.

The girl next to him, her eyes widened, “I think you cracked your head open, we should get inside before the train goes, so you can get to Hogwarts for that.”

I nodded and started picking my things back up and carried them into the train, they helped me bring it into a room with an old man.

“Who’d you suppose he is?” Said the red head.

The girl said “Remus John Lupin”

The red head looked struck and turned to the boy next to him “How do you suppose she knows everything?”

She rolled her eyes and pointed to his case “It's on his suit case Ronald.”

“Oh.” he muttered.

I laughed at them; they snapped their heads towards me remembering I was there, than I gasped as pain struck.

I sat there with my eyes closed for a minute and re-opened them,
