(M/n) wore his best fancy but casual outfit and headed to Starsnatch cliff

Venti has invited him for something, but the drunkard Bard wouldnt tell him what he invited him for

"I feel like im forgetting something this entire day.... Not to mention the gifts piled up... I mean i am used to receiving gifts by admirers, but its double on this day on every year. Am i forgetting something? I'll ask Venti later"

As (M/n) arrived at the starsnatch cliff, a powerful wind formed in front of him, (M/n) had to hold a tree to protect himself from being blown away

After that was over, (M/n) opened his eyes, and there was Venti, his clothes is still the sams but strangely fancier than usual

"Venti? What are we doing here?" (M/n) asked, fixing his clothes and surprisingly calm

"Eh? Do you not remember what day it is?" Venti deadpanned while holding out his arms

(M/n) squinted at him "It's.... Thursday, right? Oh come on, what am i forgetting?? People keeps sending double gifts to me!" He said while running to hug the (shorter/taller) male

"Do you not remember your own birthday?"

"OOOOHHH, My birthday! That makes sense..... OH MY GOD, TODAY IS (Insert birthdate), HOW DID I FORGET. Thats why i was feeling giddy when looking at the date.... Ohhh, THATS why...."

"You SERIOUSLY don't remember your own birthday??"

"Nope, once i inherited the store and being busy i always forgot about my birthday. Well there are some times i remember, but i dont pay much mind to it"

"Ah.... Okay then.... Well.... Happy birthday, (M/n)!" Venti cheered, as the aura around them brightens

(M/n) smiled at him, and then they enjoyed their own little party, along with Traveler and Paimon who just arrived (They wanted to give him a gift at his house because they also remembered about his b-day, but they didnt found him there. So they asked people if they have seen him, and somehow they saw him heading to Starsnatch cliff, so they walked there to find Idris and Venti having "date" from what Paimon assumed)

"I wanted to give you this gift" Venti handed the (h/c)-ette a small sized (f/c) box with a cyan ribbon to decorate the box

"Oh my.... Venti..." (M/n) stared at Venti in awe, his expression gentle and loving. Once Venti noticed the look (M/n) gave him, his heart skipped a beat as butterflies filled his stomach. His face heatens up

"W-Well, take it!" Venti shoved the box into (M/n)'s chest, as the other male laughed at his nervousness

"But i swear if this is a prank" (M/n) said as he started untying the ribbon and opening the box

(M/n) then gasped loudly, his eyes wide as he stares at the cyan(?) colored jewel inside the box

"Is this.... A vision...? An anemo one! B-but... Huh..? How did..?" Venti smiled as (M/n) seemed to piece it together

"Venti, did you beg to Barbatos for this?"

Even if (M/n) was not dense, he was pretty dense to things like this (Plot purpose. Ehe)

The three others broke into laughter as (M/n) stared at them in bewilderment "What? Did i say something wrong?"

Venti, surprisingly, managed to stop his laughter and replied "Nooooooo, i AM Barbatos"

(M/n)'s mind seems to process for a moment, before turning into a huge blushing mess "GAH!! WHY DID I ONLY REALIZED IT NOW!?! I'M SO STUPID" (M/n) scowled and knocked his knuckles on his head a few times

"Hey, dont hurt yourself!"

From that day on, Venti and (M/n) started dating and (M/n) started learning how to use his newly found vision with Barbatos himself. The two grew evem more closer and, who would have expected that (M/n) was immortal all this time?

Venti was glad that (M/n) was going to be by his side for a long long time, but he was also baffled at the sudden immortallity the (h/c) haired male got

(M/n) who came from a family that has many beliefs, only chuckled and said

"I guess we are fated to be soulmates after all"

And kissed Venti's forehead lovingly as they both looked after Mondstadt. All the mortals they befriended have died, so they will protect Mondstadt, for everyone, and make Mondstadt even more prosperous

It was truly saddening to see your loved ones die one by one by the laws of nature. But what can they do? They are not the creators of this world after all. It's a common knowledge that life and death is a never ending cycle that will keep happening over time, and no one will be able to stop that cycle

Even so, both Venti and (M/n) felt both grateful yet depressed for the Immortality that was given to them

Though they both have to thank the Universe because it have teached them the most important part of the world

Life and Death

(I really didnt know what i was writing after i wrote (M/n) kissed Venti's forehead lovingly, though it seems... Good enough? So i just let it be)

And guess what, THEY BECAME ZHONGLI AND TOOK ABANDONED KIDS AND RAISED THEM

They have been doing it for over a millenia now. Of course, they were hurt when the children they have raised died, but they have grown used to it and accepted it

So kids, if someone died, just move on! Its hard, i know, but you should move on and live your life befre you die!
