Tsumugu: Looks like Humans and clothing can't get along after all.

Senketsu: Ryuko...
Ryuko: This is the person I am now. If you guys don't like it well then that's too damn bad! You guys can just take your Goku-Uniforms off at any time, but me. These Life Fibers are stuck inside me! She looks at Senketsu one last time.
Ryuko: Don't cling to me anymore. We're through.
She tries to walk away before Mako walks up to her and slaps her in the face. Shocking her and everyone present.
Mako: How could you Ryuko? HOW COULD YOU BE SO SELFISH!?
Ryuko: M-Mako?
Mako: You're acting like you were Tatsumi's only friend, that you were the only one that cared about him!
Mako started crying into Ryuko's arms.

Mako: Tatsumi was my best friend too, Ryuko! He also saved me from my greed! Losing him, I don't even know if I'll ever get better from here. So, for you to just abandon us like this? It's just so selfish.
Senketsu: She's right, Ryuko. Tatsumi was important to all of us and so are you still even if you're part Life Fiber.
Ryuko: You guys-
Mako: Please Ryuko, I already lost Tatsumi. I can't lose you too.
Ryuko: You guys still don't get it, do you?
Mako: Ryuko.
Ryuko: Of course, you don't. There's no way you could.
Mikisugi: What are you talking about?
Ryuko: It doesn't even matter anymore. I'm going and that's final. I have to avenge him because I'm the reason he's dead in the first place!
Mako: Ryuko-

Ryuko walks off into the smoke with tears in her eyes. Mikisugi tries to stop her, but Tsumugu puts his hand on his shoulder, stopping him from trying to stop him from chasing Ryuko any further. She keeps running and running, she had no clue where to but she just had to go somewhere anywhere that wasn't there. Memories of the moments her and Tatsumi shared together flowed through her mind as she finally collapsed to her hands and knees.
