Ragyo shows Ryuko a picture of Tatsumi hanging from the chains in his cell drenched in blood cuts and burns from all of the times Nui "played" with him. His body covered in lacerations and burns, scars that would last a life time.
Ryuko looked at the image, her mouth agape in horror as tears started to swell in her eyes.
Ryuko: No no no no no no no. WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HIM!?
Ragyo: I tried to get him to surrender himself to Life Fibers, boy was he stubborn though. He was able to survive Nui playing with him for over a month while you were taking your beauty rest. If only he'd let Incursio take control, maybe he would've been able to survive to see you again.

And just like that Ragyo and Nui take their leave, letting Ryuko sit there in complete despair before getting up and starting to head towards Honnouji Academy. All of this was becoming too much for her to bear as she let out a guttural cry of rage and sadness.
