*A few days later*
*Yn's POV*
You jumped out of bed at exactly 6 o'clock on your birthday and raced down stairs. "Mum, Dad, Sunny, it's my birthday" you yelled from the kitchen, in your excitement you tripped over Lupa, who hissed.
"Sorry Lupa, I forgot, it's your birthday too" you said picking up the cat and feeding her. Then you set to work making pancakes (or other favourite breakfast). After about an hour breakfast was finally ready and everyone was at the table.
"Happy Birthday yn" said Sunny almost knocking you over with a hug.
"Aww, thanks Sunny, only 21 days until you turn eleven isn't it" you said
"Uhhu I wonder..." She trailed off. You knew what she was going to say, she wondered if she'd get a Hogwarts letter.
"Maybe Sunny" you said smiling. During breakfast, you and your dad had a discussion about astronomy.
"Daaaad, you're thinking like a muggle, they teach astronomy at Hogwarts, it's one of my best subjects" you argued
"I would know if there was a star called Sirius or not, one of my best friends is named after it, Sirius Orion Black" you explained
"All right fine then" huffed your dad, pretending to be annoyed.
"What else do you learn at Hogwarts" asked Sunny eagerly.
"Transfiguration, that's turning things into other things, Potions, surely you can figure that one out, Ancient Runes, Defense Against the Dark Arts, I got into a lot of trouble in that class last year, Divination, that's really just nonsense, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, History of Magic, Arithmancy, Muggle Studies" you listed
"Muggle Studies" asked Sunny
"Wizards and Witches aren't the best at understanding Muggles" you said casually.
"And there's also flying" you added
"Cool" said Sunny.
After breakfast you changed into a Beatles t-shirt, purple overalls and of course your purple converse.
A knock came at the door. You raced down to answer and were met by Remus.
"Happy Birthday yn" said Remus
"Thanks Rem" you said engulfing him in a hug.
"Come in" you said pulling him inside.
"Oh, you're wearing them" you commented, noticing that he was wearing the blue converse you had given him.
"Of course I am, I love them" said Remus, you blushed. You opened your present from him to reveal the entire boxed set of Malory Towers and chocolate frogs.
"Thanks Remus" you said as you put the books up on your bookshelf.
"Hey, I want to show you something, go grab some swimmers" you told Remus after a while. You went to your room and changed into a purple one piece. When Remus returned he was wearing board shorts and a rash shirt, which you knew was to hide some of his scars. Then Sunny appeared.
"Please let me come, it's my spot too" she begged
"Fine, but get changed quickly" you instructed. Sunny took about one minute to get changed, you suspected that she had been wearing her swimmers under her dress.
"Ok, follow me" you said as you led Remus and Sunny out the back door and through your back yard. You came to a fence and stopped for a moment.
"Why are we looking at a fence" asked Remus confused
"Well we have to climb it of course" said Sunny in a duh tone.
First you climbed to the top of the fence and gestured for the other two to follow you.
You walked a through a paddock, which was owned by your family when you came to a bunch of trees.
"Can I hear... a river" asked Remus
"Follow me" you said. You all walked over to where there was a sort of arch way made of the trees. On the trunk of one, there was a small pink hand print and a slightly larger purple one.
