"I thought I was late!" exclaimed an out-of-breath Mi-nyeo.

"Did you write a script or something?" she asked, making you confused.

She held up the paper you were holding and showed you. It read,

"Try to be all nervous, rubbish, and shaky. Why? You're going to be like that anyway. Might as well make it part of the plan, then it'll fell in purpose.

PS: We kind of made a bet out of this so, if you could hurry, it would be much appreciated!"

'Seriously? Even the staffs?' What's with this school and gambling?' you thought, groaning while Mi-nyeo was stifling her laughter.

"Okay, I'll do it.' you said, voice shaking a bit.

"But I'm going to need your help." you told Mi-nyeo, gesturing at Sang Byeok and her friends.

You don't know how Mi-nyeo did it but, Sae-Byeok is now alone. They were hiding in a corner, showing you their support. Min-nyeo is gesturing, more like shooing you to go, jersey number 119 was giving you thumbs-up, and jersey number 240 is smirking while holding up a camera.

Taking a deep breath, you started walking in Sae-Byeok's direction. She was looking quite dazed, making you clear your throat to announce your presence. She looked startled but calmed down when she saw that it was you.

"Hey, I have to ask you something." you started and, Sae-Byeok only tilted her head in question. You wanted to continue but, the words were stuck in your throat.

"I was going to ask you if-" you tried but, some strangers decided to bypass you two. You can help but sigh in relief because you don't know what to say next. You were surprised when she suddenly talked.

"Is your question urgent?" the question sounded harsh but, Sae-Byeok's voice was soft.

"I have to go to..." she murmured, looking away. You didn't hear what she said next, but you didn't ask because she looked embarrassed.

You panicked when you saw her start walking away. So you held her hand before you could've stopped yourself. She jolted in surprise and, you gave a series of apologies. You were the stupefied one when she said it was okay. Taking one deep breath, you decided to ask her.

"Hypothetically speaking, are you available this weekend to come with me? I mean, if you're free and you want to go. I don't want to force you. If you don't want to, it's okay. It's a date if you want, like romantically-"

"Yes." she answered rather quickly.

"What?" you stuttered. You were utterly shocked, surprised, flabbergasted, and possibly ecstatic.

"How about this weekend? Five pm. I'll pick you up at your place." she started walking away, not waiting for your response. You only nod in understanding, feeling incapable of saying words.

You walk to where Mi-nyeo and the others are hiding. Noticing the spring in your steps and your obviously beaming face, Mi-nyeo counted the confession as a success.

Now she has to go shopping with you, to help you with your clearly lacking fashion sense.

Sae-Byeok's POV

It's another one of Cho sun-saeng-nim's boring classes. Gazing at the (Y/N) who's looking around the room. 'Guess she's bored too.'

She must have felt me staring because she suddenly looked at me. Raising her eyebrows and gesturing something.

'It's unfair. How can someone looks so adorable every day?'

"You know, you can just confess and get it over with. End our suffering, please." Ji-Yeong grumbled beside you.

"You guys keep telling me that she feels the same way but, I doubt it." you replied, sighing.

"If she confesses to you, I definitely earned my right to say I told you so." Ji-Yeong said confidently.

You were playing on the court when you noticed her. You were hoping that she was watching you play. Maybe if you hit the ball hard enough, it'll land next to her then, you can talk to her. Although, you wouldn't risk accidentally hitting her.

"That was a good play!" Ali complimented you. You quickly gave him your thanks and looked around. You were disappointed when you saw she wasn't around anymore.

Ali, Ji-Yeong, and you were talking about different techniques you could use when playing tennis. You were interrupted by a strange woman.

"Hey guys, sorry to interrupt your lovely conversation, not really. I'm going to have to borrow this pure cinnamon roll here." she said, tapping Ali on the shoulder while he looked utterly confused. She pulled him with her and, they started talking.

"Wonder what that's about?" Ji-Yeong asked beside me. I only shrugged as a reply.

It wasn't even a full five minutes when Ali returned, saying that he needed Ji-Yeong's help. They looked like they were having a silent conversation with their eyes which ended with Ali grinning and Ji-Yeong looking smug. They told me that they would get back in a few minutes.

'They sure take their time. I'm already hungry. What kind of friends do this? If they're not back here in five minutes, I'm going to the cafeteria.' You were startled when you heard someone clear their throat. You turned and came face to face with (Y/N).

'Oh hell, calm down my heart.'

"Hey, I have to ask you something." she started, making you tilt your head, curious. She looked like she was hesitating. Some strangers were bypassing you two.

You remembered that you were hungry. So you asked (Y/N), "Is your question urgent?" you tried not to sound harsh but, you really don't want to embarrass yourself in front of your crush.

"I have to go to the cafeteria." you mumbled, looking away. You didn't hear (Y/N)'s response that you started walking away.

You were pleasantly surprised when you felt something warm pulling your hand. Looking in front of you, (Y/N) apologized, you shook your head and told her it was okay.

'It was definitely more than okay.'

She took a deep breath and asked you a question that you were not expecting.

"Hypothetically speaking, are you available this weekend to come with me? I mean, if you're free and you want to go. I don't want to force you. If you don't want to, it's okay. It's a date if you want, like romantically-"

"Yes." you quickly answered without a hint of hesitation. (Y/N) gave you an opportunity and, you're going to damn well take it.

"How about this weekend? Five pm. I'll pick you up at your place." you informed her. It felt like your heart was about to burst in excitement when you turned around and, she was nodding.

You were on the benches, drinking water. Recalling (Y/n) asking you out earlier, you blushed, stuffing your face in your towel.

"I told you so." you heard, making you look up and face to face with a smug Ji-Yeong, showing you the video on her phone.

"Shut up." you weakly replied.

Extra:

In the Principal's office, a couple of staff such as Principal Il-nam, Seong sun-saeng-nim, and Cho sun-saeng-nim watched your confession on the CCTV camera.

Hearing Sae-Byeok's response, Gi-hun celebrated, Sang-woo groaned, and Il-nam sighed in defeat.

In the end, you and Sae-Byeok are going home positively gay while Gi-hun will come home with pockets full with an appalled Sang-woo.

A/N:
I just really like making Sang-woo pay, Literally.
