English Requests

Welcome to my covershop I'm a young graphic designer who enjoys making covers. I'm doing it for quite a few years now. So you might have stumbled up onto my work. However most of my requests are from Dutch books.
I make covers for almost everyone. Whether you are a good writer or not doesn't matter to me. Everyone deserves a pretty cover.

Note:
This form is only for people don't or don't fluently speak Dutch. If you are Dutch please request in the Dutch chapter. Yes even if you're requesting for an English story.

However I like making covers, I have a few rules to make it doable for me.

1. Don't request at multiple shops at the same time.
This is just rude.

2. Don't request when you don't know if you will actually post the book.
Only request when you are sure your book is online or will be online soon. You don't have to be sure if you will finish it.

3. I have the right to deny any request for any reason
I won't accept every request. This doesn't have anything to do with your writing abilities. There are just some things I can't, won't or don't feel comfortable making. I'm sure you can find a better match.

4. There are a few covers I don't make
I normally don't make fanfiction covers, covers for RPGs, however occasionally I will make an exception on this rule.
Anything that makes me really uncomfortable or is against the Wattpad guidlines is a hard no. Covers for adult books is a bit of a grey area for me, but normally I am willing to do it as long as the cover itself doensn't need to be spicy. When in doubt, just place your request and I will look at it.

5. Avoid entering my covers for competitions
If I have interest in completing with my work I will do so myself, but I really don't like being forced into it. It's not a big deal if you can't avoid it due to a bookclub or so having it included, but I would really appreciate it if you don't enter my work into competitions. And when you absolutely feel the need to compete with my covers, please don't tag me in them.

6. You have to credit me for my work
Just mention me in the description or the first chapter or so.

You also can expect some stuff from me. If you want to know how I deal with changes, if my work is free and how long your cover will take to make, read this part.

1. My covers are free, but only for personal use.
You can use you cover on wattpad or any other sites, but you can't make any money with it.
I do make covers for publishing to, but a book on Wattpad is not the place to discuss those. You can message me about them privatly

2. You can request small changes
If it doesn't get to crazy of course. I can easly change a name or title when still have your file. I normally keep files for a long time. So even if it's been a while, asking costs nothing.

3. I'll do my best to make a cool cover
Duh.

4. I wil react somewhat fast
I'll try to react to your request within a week. However my no is no. Please accept it.

5. Waiting time 0-2 weeks
This is a guideline, not a promise. When I have multiple requests before you or am busy it obviously gets longer.

6. I post some of my work on socialmedia
I do post my non-comercial covers on other social media platforms. By requesting you agree to this.

7. Friends go first.
They are cute and have earned that right.
