A- this is uh wow

D- your telling me..

we stood there looking dumb until this older man walked over to us

??- an who might you two be?

D- I'm uh Dakota Portman, an this is Adam Banks

he grew a smile as he held a clipboard

??- yes! you two are apart of the JV hockey team, that's awesome! follow me to your dorms

we started following behind him when I let words slip out of my mouth

D- sir can Adam an I share a dorm? it's just um I have severe panic attacks an separation anxiety and he's the only one that helps me with that

he looked back at me an smiled

??- sure thing! I'm Dean Buckley, the principal here in Eden Hall!

we both smiled as he lead us to what I'm guessing is the dorms. he gave Adam a key before speaking

B- well that key is for your guys dorm! if you need anything just ask, I will see you both at the ceremony! 

he walked away an I looked at Adam who was opening the door, we both walked in an the dorms at 2 beds which was great.

A- well home sweet home

I chuckled an placed my stuff on one of the beds as he did the same before he looked at the clock

A- we should head to the auditorm so we don't miss it, hopefully we find some of the ducks before hand

i nodded an we walked out of the dorm and headed where we needed to be, we got half way there and I saw a familiar cowboy

D- Dwayne!

he stopped an smiled as the group he was with did the same, I saw Ken, Russ, Julie an Luis with him. we walked over to them an hugged them

A- it's good to see you guys again!

J- for real it's been a little!

K- like 2 days

we laughed an went to the auditorm, we took our seats and talked as we waited. Sadly hockey varsity players sat behind us an started shit with Julie but I stayed out of it that was until Rick the captain said something

Ri- well if it isn't Dakota Portman, say how's the arrest going for you? has the girl woke up yet?

D- go to hell.

R- oo scary, don't beat me up now

I stood up going to punch him but Adam got up with me grabbing my hands stopping me

A- we have only been here for 10 minutes don't do it.

I sighed an sat down making him let out a breath before doing the same. let's just say Buckley started talking and the curtain came down.. the rest of the ducks were there, this was so embarrassing. After we met with Mr. Buckley again we all talked an started walking towards the dorms

C- say Adam an Dakota, how come you two flew in together?

I looked at Adam seeing if he was gonna answer, he must have caught my gaze because he looked at Charlie an spoke

A- well uh I moved in with my mom after the goodwill games. she surprisingly lives in Chicago so I just flew here with D 

Charlie nodded with a smile as he put his arm around Adam's shoulder before Luis spoke up

L- this may be over stepping but Dakota what was Rick talking about when he bought up arrested an a girl in a coma?

I sighed seeing all the ducks confused looks expect Adam's since he already knew

D- I might as well say it, back home in Chicago I got into this fight with a girl.. the fight got to burtal an I ended up putting her into a coma which caused me to get arrested and put on patrol 

they looked shocked an I waited for someone to speak up thank fucking god Fulton did, I never thought I would say that.

F- why isn't Dean showing up? he said it was because Bombay wasn't but I don't believe that

Bombay isn't showing? or that assholes

D- well my dad came back from the miltary so I'm guessing dean is staying because of him

Fulton rolled his eyes clearly annoyed with that idea, we got to the dorms and everyone was about to go into theirs but I stopped Charlie

D- Charlie can I talk to you?

he nodded an we waited for everyone to get in their dorms before I started talking

D- so Bombay isn't coming?

C- nope, he got a better oppurinty so he dumped us into this preppy school. I can't believe he is bailing again!

D- I know, I thought I knocked some sense into the first time.. how are you holding up from it though?

C- I'm not too happy about it, it hurts you know?

I nodded an held out my arms

D- you look like you can use one, this is a one time offer because hugs aren't my thing

he chuckled and hugged me, we held onto that hug for a while before letting go.. Averman came out of his dorm grabbing Charlie's wrist without a word yanking him into the ddrm making me laugh so I went into mine an Adam's dorm, he was already passed out an so I finally chose to get some sleep
