I sat down on the chair and sat in silence watching whatever Sabrina had on.

"Yes Paige?" she asked, setting down her mac and cheese and pausing her show.

"oh thank you, i've been dying to tell you since thursday" it's now saturday.

she nodded, telling me to keep going.

"guess who's in my music AND drama class" i exclaimed.

"oh i don't know paige tell me"

i knew she was being a bit sarcastic but i didn't care.

"harry styles"

her jaw dropped. "no way, arent those your favourite classes too?"

i nodded.

she frowned "im sorry P. if he tries anything, i won't hesitate to do anything"

i laughed, "he already threw a note at me saying my hair looked horrendous on the first day"

"that asshole"

i shrugged, "it is what it is. used to it now Sab"

"but it's stupid, he's being so immature"

"are we surprised Sabrina? all he cares about is being the most coolest and jerkiest guy in school, and he just decided to pick on me the most"

at this point sabrina was standing up.

the front door flew open then shut. and then came running up the stairs to the living room was no other than theo.

"oh is this like really bad timing" he spoke, holding a bag from target.

me and sabrina laughed.

"sort of" sabrina spoke.

"i'm so sorry, want me to come back later"

"no T it's okay, i just told her about Harry"

his mouth went into an O shape "yeah he's like a little bit of a dick, but i got you stuff Paigey to make you feel better"

he handed me the bag

"omg seriously" I say, taking the bag.

it was a new soccer ball, a water bottle, and most of my favourite snacks and a hoodie.

"thanks T, I really appreciate it"

"I'm still suspecting your secret relationship.." Sabrina said out of nowhere.

Theo and I both looked at her.

"literally never say that again Sabrina never again. I almost threw up in my mouth" Theo said with the straightest face, making Sab laugh.

"he's like family, thats wrong" I say backing him up.

she put her hands up in defence and grabbed her Mac and cheese again.

we walked into the basement and Theo plopped on the chair.

"you're doing okay, right?" Theo asked while I was putting on the tv.

I nodded, focusing on the tv.

I could feel his eyes glued on me. yet he stayed silent.

I knew what he wanted to talk about, yet I still wasn't ready. I don't think i'll ever be ready to talk about my parents death.

"But Paige, everything with you the past year and now Harry and-"

"Theo please stop talking" I put down the remote and look at him. "I'm not ready to just effortlessly talk about it, any of this stupid year. I still break down almost every night. It takes me forever to fall asleep, terrified to have another nightmare of any of the traumatic times in my life. Chloe's my big sister, she's 20 years old Theo and i'm only 17. we lost our parents. we lost so much. I can barely open up to my own sister still. I know its unhealthy to hold it all in but you have to understand my point of view"

I've been holding that in way too long.

I held my breathe waiting for a reaction.

studying his face, he looked upset. he was looking at the floor, he looked about to cry. finally he glanced up at me and made eye contact.

"i'm sorry. i'm just worried about you. you're like my twin sis Pay. i don't want anything to happen to you. so when you do want to talk, i'm here" he spoke.

"thank you T. i will, it's just going to take time"

he nodded and slightly smiled.

"sorry for kind of going off on you there" i say chucking.

he grinned and laughed. "it's okay i kinda deserved it"

i laughed and threw him the remote.

** monday **

there was 25 minutes left of class and i was savouring every minute before second period with harry.

then came a knock at the door. everyone's eyes wandered over to the door to see the principle and, you've got to be kidding me. harry styles.

his eyes trailed over to mine.

his eyes grew wide then his eyes rolled. i seen him say something to the principle.

"no you can't switch classes again, styles"

i held back my grin knowing even tho i hated it, he probably hated it more. which i liked seeing him not enjoying himself.

"Alright Harry you can take a seat..." the teachers eyes came to the seat infront of me.

please not there.

"right in front of Paige Thornton over there, sound good?" he spoke, turning to harry.

"there isn't a better seat?" Harry asked.

the teacher shrugged "unfortunately not, since you entered class late. but Paige is a good kid you'll like her"

i huffed, yeah right. i'd like to see that.

he sat down infront of me and threw his bag on the floor.

my time to get back at him for always being behind me.

not even 5 minutes later i started tapping my foot against the leg of his chair.

"Paige" he mumbled.

having a trillion classes with harry over the years i knew exactly how to piss him off.

after a minute of that i decided to stop and focus on my work as the teacher was coming around.

"harry you barely got anything done"

"sorry, um just a bit distracted"

the teacher looked back at me and i shrugged, looking back at my sheet.
