i actually enjoyed my first night in the apartment but i did feel really lonely and it was too quiet

i think it's just because i was so used to being with my mom and my two loud ass siblings that i miss so much

right now i'm getting ready because my manager called me to come in today to get to know everything and what i need to do

after i finished getting ready i was going to grab a small snack but i realized i haven't went grocery shopping yet

i'll go later

i hopped in the uber i ordered and went on my way to the place

i really need to save up money to get a car soon. i heard this job pays very well so hopefully i'll be able to get one

i walked inside the building and went to the front desk "hi! i'm here to see Robert King"

"Okay one moment" the woman who looked to be in her 40s replied

she picked up the phone and dialed a number "hello Mr. King someone is here to see you"

"send them in" i heard on the other side of the phone

"okay sir" she replied and hung up "mr. kings office is down the hall first door on the right"

"thank you"

i walked down to the first door on the right and opened the door

"Ah so nice to finally meet you Ms. Jones" he smiled

"you don't have to call me that. please call me jas" i smiled "but it's nice to finally meet you too" i said shaking his hand

"please take a seat" he motioned to the chair in front of his desk. i sat in the seat and nervously picked at the skirt i was wearing

"so as you know, this is a job for photography and since you are just starting out in adulthood i would like to give you the most paying job we have" he smiled "which is photographing for celebrities"

for celebrities?

"is that fine with you or would you like one of the other photography jobs" he asked

"no that's completely fine!" i smiled "especially if it's the most paying job" i giggled causing him to laugh

"great! so basically you'll be going to different shows and photograph whoever's performing on the stage which is a pretty easy job for how much the pay is"

"how much is the pay if you don't mind me asking?"

"you'll be getting paid $500 every friday" he informed causing my eyes to bulge out of my head

every friday? this is crazy. that's $2000 a month!

"but if you do really well your pay can go even higher up to $1000 every friday"

so these people rich rich.

"so are you up to doing the job?" he asked

"yes please" i said with no hesitation causing him to let out a chuckle knowing how excited i am

"well that's great because i got contacted by interscope records. you're familiar with them? yes?" he asked

"yes i am"

"well they contacted me asking if you could photograph one of their singers so i will inform them that you will be doing so" he said typing on his computer probably emailing them

"do you know who the singer is?" i asked

"no i'm not sure but they do want you to go to the interscope records building to meet them and whoever you're photographing"
