I didn't respond at first because frankly, I didn't know how to. But then I remembered something my dad taught me. You don't have to be a psychopath, but you do have to learn how to think like one.

I briefly closed my eyes and unlocked the part of my brain I tried so hard to keep at bay. The part that has murder on the brain. The part that doesn't care who gets hurt, as long as I get what I want.

The thing my dad created.

"Leonardo, but not him. One of his workers." I kept all my sudden feelings of violence inside my head while speaking about the things that came to mind.

"Why?" Natalie sniffled.

"He has no reason for Harry. But his pesky friends do," I bit down on the inside of my cheek as the one obvious reason for this made itself obvious, "They need him for me." I sighed.

"Why the fuck would they hurt him because of you? No offense." Niall screamed from the group.

I quickly opened my eyes and caught his daggers. He was angry at me. I would be too. The reason their best friend was kidnapped was because of a stupid girl. I'd kill me if I were them.

Sorry, it's my father talking

"I don't know." I stumbled out, quickly retreating to the sad and nervous part of myself.

"Yes you fucking do Kennedy. I see what you're doing and go back there!" Niall yelled again, getting closer to me.

"Niall, stop. This isn't her fault." Natalie quickly defended.

"No, he's right." I shut her down.

"No, he's not. Kennedy, do you remember what happened last time you forgot to keep it at bay?" Natalie gripped my wrist as she shoved her sad puppy eyes into my view.

I do remember, and it isn't a happy memory

"I won't. But Natalie, it's Harry. All that violence would be worth it for him." I wiggled my wrist out of her grasp.

I closed my eyes again and allowed my brain to open. I filtered through every possible reason, none quite sticking. I don't know why they need me anymore. I'm useless, really.

Until something hit me.

"They know." I shot my head to Niall and the guys and opened my eyes. They all turned their heads in confusion.

"Know what?" Zayn asked from the back of the group. All heads turned towards him.

"They know I'm a part of Alea." I muttered while quickly pulling myself off of the ground and heading towards the parking lot.

"Woah, where are you going?" Natalie called after me as I walked around Harry's Lamborghini. I swung open the door and looked towards her.

"I'm gonna go get Harry back." I climbed into the car and slammed the door behind me. And just as I suspected, the keys were still in the ignition.

"Kennedy, wait!" Natalie rushed over to the cracked window and leaned down. I ignored her and put my seatbelt on.

"I can't wait. I'm going to get him back. You guys should go wait at his house, I'll meet you there with information." I leaned over in the seat and popped his glove compartment. I pulled out the spare gun and placed it on the seat, closing the compartment back up.

"You need backup." Natalie gripped the car as I revved the engine.

"Do me a favor, make sure they don't do anything drastic." I looked over to the front of Alea at the guys.
