~~CHAPTER FIVE~~ PIGEONS, GOD SCRAP PIECE CRAP DRONES

Start from the beginning

"Bo what is it?" Lou asked, looking around.

"Company at 8 O'clock." Bonnie responded. Lou didn't not know where 8 o'clock was so she spun around a few times looking in the air. A few people watched her like she was crazy, which, undoubtedly wasn't a lie.

"I see them!" Che shouted through the comms.

"Where?!?" Lou shouted, still spinning.

"Dakota, get out of there!" Bonnie continued to call.

"She can't hear you." Che called out to Bonnie.

"Seriously where are we looking?" Lou continued to look again, now moving to get a better angle.

"The device," Che spoke strangely calmly at the realization. "It cut out her comms. She won't hear us."

"WHERE ARE WE LOOKING?!?" Lou continued to shout at the two girls who were oblivious to Lou.

"Isa, turn left." Lou did so and still looked around. "Now up to the big blue building."

"Oh, oh wow. They are headed straight for the truck." Lou finally acknowledged watching a bird man and a few robots fly forward.

"We know that, now do something about it!" Che screamed trying to find a clean shot.

"Ok, ok. I'm sorry." Lou hopped on her toes a bit trying to think of something to do. She looked around and saw a fire escape leading up a brick building. Louisa finally put two and two together and made a run for it.

"Che I really need to know where your eyes are." Bonnie screamed into the comms, feverishly trying to reach JJ.

"I got em!" Che hollered, watching the bird man closely. "I can take the shot!"

"No, we don't have to kill anyone!" Lou shouted climbing faster.

"I have to take it, we don't have time!"

"No!"

"I need to!"

"JJ PLEASE!" Bonnie hollered to the one woman who could not hear her.

Now, the next few moments happened quickly. Bonnie, with no choices left, had turned the traffic lights green to get JJ away.

Lou, with likely the lowest impulse control of the team, jumped off of a four story building head first. Moments before her body collided with the concrete, the young girl's body adapted to the situation and she sprouted wings. You heard me, the rock headed, impulsive, low iq dumbass, sprouted wings. Like a bird.

In the moment our friendly neighborhood bird woman sprouted her wings and mortified seven pedestrians, Che fired the shot. Of course our hero-villian never misses unless something random happens. Like a pigeon.

Che never would have seen it coming if she knew what she was looking for. The bullet pierced into the bird and allerted Sam Wilson. He flew out of the way and changed direction. Before he could get close enough or Che could take a shot, Lou put her legs out and pushed him onto another roof.

By now the girls had made a big enough scene that everyone saw. This was not how they did things and they would surely all be punished for leaving such a big mess. Che immediately got off the roof and began to run. Two bots followed her and two followed the truck.

"I hate fucking pigeons," Che mumbled as she ran.

The bots began firing at the truck as it moved. Bonnie was through the roof looking for a way to save her team. More gunfire ran through the comms and Bonnie did the only thing left. She turned her device off and called out JJ's names.
