"I got it." Puck mumbled to Quinn in response to the knock at the front door.
Puck headed downstairs and opened the front door, furrowing his eyebrow at the sight of the police officers in front of him.
"Mr. Puckerman?"
Puck nodded as he looked at his daughter, though she wouldn't look at him.
"Your daughter was out drinking. Even though she's underage, we decided to let her off with a warning since she doesn't have a record yet."
"Thank you for making sure she got home safe." Puck said. "It won't happen again."
When the police officers left, Puck closed the door and turned to his daughter on the stairs.
"Whoa, wait a minute. Where do you think you're going?"
"To my room so I can go to bed."
"You just got into legal trouble, Lulu." Puck stated. "We're gonna talk about it."
"I didn't get in trouble." Lucy argued. "I got a warning."
"Lucy." Puck scolded.
Lucy threw her head back and groaned as she walked down the steps and looked at Puck.
"As long as you're living under our roof, your mother and I are responsible for you." Puck noted. "And your actions. Not to mention how everything our family says or does is in the public eye."
"Well, I never signed up for that." Lucy pointed out. "I never asked for any of your fame. Or Mom's."
"Okay." Puck said. "It still doesn't give you the right to break the law. You're too young to be drinking."
"You and Mom drank when you were my age." Lucy replied.
"Your mother and I did a lot of things we don't want you doing." Puck pointed out. "But when we drank, we did it at someone's house and we had designated drivers. We weren't walking around Lima plastered."
"You were." Lucy reminded Puck. "I know all about your record, Dad."
"Beth told you?" Puck guessed.
Lucy shook her head.
"Sarah." Puck noted. "And why did Aunt Sarah tell you?"
Lucy furrowed her eyebrow.
"Me and your mom and Aunt Sarah and everyone want you to do better than I did." Puck explained. "Alright? I had a huge record and I was impulsive and made lots of bad decisions."
"This was the first time I did something wrong and you're totally freaking out." Lucy stated.
"The first time you did something wrong?" Puck repeated. "Lulu, you've been doing something wrong your whole life. You've just always been bailed out by the rest of us. And tonight, quite literally."
Lucy looked at Puck. "You heard the police officers. I don't have a record."
Puck nodded. "They said yet. You don't have a record yet."
"Dad, calm down." Lucy said. "I'm not you."
"You're not." Puck agreed. "But you're still grounded. Give me your phone."
"I need my phone to text you and Mom." Lucy noted.
"We'll talk about this in the morning." Puck promised, putting his hand out. "Give me the phone and go to bed."
"Ugh." Lucy groaned as she gave Puck her phone and stomped up the stairs.
"Don't wake everybody up!" Puck exclaimed as he pocketed Lucy's phone. He sighed before going back upstairs to bed.
