Two months had passed since the whole 'accident'. Today was bright and sunny, also a Sunday. I was sitting in the park with my guitar strumming it lightly. This is the only thing that kept me sane. I watched as small children played with their pets, a few people listening to music and two or three couples making out with their partners.

I didn't notice that I had some lyrics in my head until I recited it out loud. Well it was mainly a song about depression and sadness. When I almost finished the song, a dog came running towards me. At first I was scared when it pounced on me, but then it licked my face. I started petting the little thing. The dog was really cute.

"Darcy! There you are" a girl came towards us. She looked the same age as me. When she looked at me and the dog, she smiled at me and came closer to us. "Uh usually she doesn't go to strangers" the girl said with a nervous laughter. "I'm Crescent" she spoke sticking her hand out for me to shake. "I'm Riley, nice to meet you" I smiled at her.

We spent rest of the day talking and laughing. When it was time to go home, she gave me her number. I saved it as "Crescent🌙" Walking through the streets, I saw a familiar looking woman. Usually it bugs me when I don't recognize someone or something, but this time I just decided to brush it off. Not even two seconds later, I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. "Oh my God Riley it is you" she said. Ohhhhh...... She was the lady from the hospital

"Hi Grace!" I said to her smiling. She put her free arm around my shoulder. "How are you doing these days?" she asked me I just shrugged, indicating that it was as normal as always. She gave me a smile and we continued walking in silence before she dropped a bomb, "So how is Redbottom?" "Ah she is acting nicer I guess" I said, which was a COMPLETE lie. Ever since the accident, the yelling and kicking just got worse but since I was used to this, I just lived with it.

Grace furrowed her eyebrows. She knew I was lying, but she didn't pry on it. "So you play the guitar?" she asked me looking at my guitar. "Yeah. When I was in a different orphanage, on of the teenager girl thought me. But uh, she died so I keep playing this for remembering her" I said. This was my life. Everything good never stays, so I lost hope. "I'm sorry" she said with sadness laced in her voice. "Its fine" I told her

"So how are things with you and Haz?" I asked. "Oh my lord thank god you asked. It is going great and I think I'm in love with him. I know its only been half a year, but I just feel it." she began ranting but stopped when she noticed it. "You know, it's never too early in love and war" I said. And I don't know what I said, because she started pinching my cheeks.

Time really flies when you are talking to somebody and I didn't know where she took me. I started panicking, but she noticed and started speaking. "It's just my house. I think you should meet Haz for real this time"

Walking through the door, the air was cold. This house gave me a good feeling. Something that felt like home. (see what I did there?) Haven't felt like this in years. Inside, I saw a blue eyed man. He somewhat looked like me. He looked somewhat familiar. HOLY SHIT THAT'S HARRISON FUCKING OSTERFIELD. After recognizing who he was, I was frozen. So I was talking to Harrison's girlfriend? Oh my god.

"Hey aren't you the girl from the hospital? What's your name...Riley? Yea Riley!"  he said, his eyes lighting up as he speaks. Holy fuck he knows who I am!

"Yea it's me" I said. He pulled me in for a hug. When he pulled away, he noticed my mother's pendant and his eyes widened. "W-Where did you get that?" he asked me. "This is my mother's. She gave this to me before she died." He squinted his eyes not believing what I said. "I think you should leave" he said in a stern way. I was taken aback. Not because he asked me to leave, but the way he said it. It's not like I wasn't used to people talking to me in a rude way, but it was because it came from him. He felt like home for a split second though.

"Uh yea of course its getting late" I said before closing the door. Through my peripheral vision, I saw Grace walking towards him. but I didn't stay there long enough.

Haz's POV

As soon as Riley left the house, I saw Grace making her way toward me. She started bombarding me with questions.

"Grace sit down I need to tell you something" I said. She looked at me and sat on the sofa. After telling her everything, she gave me hug followed by a kiss.

I took out my phone and my fingers hovered a particular contact whom I haven't thought about in 15 years. After a few rings, she started speaking.

"I see you have found her"
