𝕊𝕒𝕞

      I woke up just before my alarm and jumped out of bed, excited for the day. Throwing on my  pair of light blue jeans, rainbow checkered vans and light pink knitted sweater with over sized sleeves. I ran to the mirror to fix my hair which was fluffy from a shower taken the night before. I ran down the stairs holding a hello to my mother and grabbing an apple from the kitchen table. Sliding to the door an swinging it open to a massive thunderstorm. The wind was bending over trees, leaves and twigs soared  through the air.

     As I looked around outside I saw colby walking to school. I quickly snatched up my umbrella, that was by the front door, opened it as I stepped out on to the porch. I called out to him only to get a blank stare before a confused grimace in response. I hop down the steps and race across the street stopping with a bound a few feet in front of him. Once focused on him I realized he wasnt holding an umbrella. "How are you not soaked!?" I demanded. "Step in here and see for yourself." A gap in the rain seemed to form out of nowhere. Closing my umbrella, I stepped through standing inches in front of his broad chest. I could feel the warmth radiating from his body. "I'm focusing on a barrier to block the rain. Look I can change its shape too." The water falling around us turned from massive drops to a blurry water fall as he changed the barriers shape from a pointed cylinder to a sharp cone, pushing us closer together. The water running down the sides bluring our vision as we walked down the side walk. "You see how hard it is to see where we're going? It's just as hard to see us, we must look like a watery blob strolling down the street." We walked in silence after that holding eachother the whole way to the school. "Let's go in over there no one knows about the vine covered entrance." "Oh yeah I remember seeing that my first day when I walked out." We walked through the vines as Colby dropped the shield. "Hey Lex, this is colby he's a new friend of mine, colby thus is my bestie Alexis." Lexi gave me an angered look. "So what you meet a guy and start showing him our hideouts." "What's the matter, babes?" I shifted away from colby to lean up against the Concrete half wall with her. "sigh..I'm sorry I'm sure he's great but we're out of pot and alots going on right now. I'm just not in the mood for this place. She hung her head playing with her braids that dangle down to her waist. "Did you say you were out of weed?" Colby to a step sideways so he was standing in front of us. "Yeah, why you got any?" Colby chuckled lightly. "No but if you have any seeds I can grow you some." "Bro we don't really have that kinda time but thx for the offer."  She shook her head and stood as if about to leave. "Do you have any seeds or not?" She shook her head again taking a small container from a small cubby hole in the bricks. "Here!" She tossed him the container and crossed her arms. Colby poured two seeds into his hand holding them under the rain using his other to hold the vines out of his way. He walked over to the half wall where there was a strip of grass between the top of the concrete and the base of the brick. Holding the seeds to the ground he mumbled some incantation to quite for me to hear. Then two stalks sprouted revealing beautiful 𝚋𝚞𝚍𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 cannabis leaves. Lexi's mouth dropped open as she grabbed a pipe and lighter from her bag. "That's amazing!! How'd you do that?!" She was so excited she could barely light her pipe. "Magic." Was his only response.

    We smoked for a min before the first bell rang to signify school was about to start. We sprayed ourselves with black ice body spray and went inside. "So what class do you have Colby?" I asked pulling on his arm. "I only have class last hour I've been spending the day in the library." "Oh I have history first period. Me and Lex have almost all our classes together." I look up at him smiling but he keeps his eyes forward as if deep in thought. "Well here's the library I'll see you last hour, nice meeting you Alexis!" He raised his voice a little to make sure she heard him. "You too, sweety" she was so much nicer in the morning when she's stoned.

    I wake up to my room lighting up deep blue and soft pink. The dim luminescence swirling around my walls, I sit up swinging my arm towards my alarm on the opposite wall stretching my fingers. Then drop my arm to push the large button across the cluttered room, silencing the the slow melody. I stand up stretching my limbs as my body pops and cracks. Turning on the lamp and checking the mirror I realize that today is the dinner date with sam. Trying to jump in the midst I hit my head on a shelf knocking over my 'mother in laws tongue'(snake plant). Turning quickly I reach out and catch the plant in a glowing purple energy field and levitate it back to the platform. With the greenery back in its home I head to my closet wanting to look decent for today. I toss on one of my black long sleeve silk button up with black jeans with shiny black dress shoes. I strut over to my jewelry box and take out a few chains for my pants, a couple rings, tree of life gages and my  silver pentagram necklace. I slide down the railing Skidding to the door and open it to reveal a wild storm. Feeling the chill from the outside wind, I reach over to the coat rack and grab my heavy black cloak and take out my wand. I mumble a short Latin enchantment forming a barrier around myself to work as an umbrella.

     I step outside and watch as the water instantly starts clinging to the invisible shield enclosing me in a curtain of water. Wrapping my cloak around my broad shoulders as I stroll down the sidewalk to keep it from touching my platform boots and getting wet, I notice a door open across the street a few houses down from my own. Continuing toward school and getting closer to the house I study the figure in the doorway. Who ever they were they were starring back me, they then reached over to the side if the door way pulling out an umbrella. As they stepped out I could see the bright colors of their outfits blending as the light is refracted through the waterfall of rain surrounding me. They appeared to yell something tho I could hardly hear past the rushing fluid. They hopped to a halt not far from me, realizing it was Sam I opened a section of the water.
We walked to school quickly and altho I kinda like sharing my magic but it's risky to be obvious with it.
